There is absolutely no freshness here. They aren’t even based in Oregon but are used because they’re one of the cheapest available for wildland fire fighting crews. The fact that they advertise freshness should be enough to report them to the BBB , the only thing that is not overly processed are the vegetables or fruit and they’re either moldy or or so under ripe they’re inedible. The prison crews in California serve way better food with lunches that don’t leave you starving after youve been hiking hills, breathing smoke and digging hotline all day. I would give -5 stars if I could.

Dinners are decent, but the breakfast and lunches are inadequate for firefighting. Not enough food to get through even light duty, and way too much sugar. The staff are nice though.

They put the yogurt next to the cheese when we had chorizo for breakfast, very misleading I put yogurt on my chorizo thinking that it was sour cream. Food is pretty good tho.
