Super cool lakeside restaurant with a laid-back, come-join-the-family vibe. We had the smoked ribs, brisket beans, fried catfish and fried shrimp with french fries and fried okra and everything was delicious! The ribs were smoked, fell off the bone, but still had a bite, and the fish and shrimp were lightly corn meal battered and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside…yum…If you are a french fry and okra fan, they were perfect, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. We brought home 4 Servings of peach cobbler for dessert. We will definitely be going back again.

Had a great experience eating here tonight. Our 1st time here. We loved the small, friendly lake-side atmosphere. This little restaurant is a great casual dining place with great food, friendly staff. Definitely coming back! Great variety on their menu.

Our family LOVES North Lake Grill. They have a variety of options from seafood to tacos to burgers to BBQ! So we can order from 1 place and everyone can get what they’re craving. Great location on the lake great vibe, great service, and great food! 5 stars

The only reason it’s get 1 star is because the young man working the counter was awesome. He was taking takeout orders, dine orders, cashing people out, refilling drinks , whatever the front end needed… while the (I’m assuming owner/manager) just kept dinging the bell… like he couldn’t hear it and saying “order up” as this young man is doing it all.. Could he have stepped out and maybe delivered the food? And the food.. well we all have our take on bbq ,but I would rather eat at Dickies or anywhere else… the brisket left a bad after taste of smoke , the coleslaw I threw away because it had a not right smell, and the sausage had a taste of something.. maybe vinegar.. I couldn’t put my finger or taste bud to what it was….wasted 100 bucks , but hey the brownie was good

This woodsy gem is worth a try. As a true sausage lovin foody I was amazed by Chef Travis BBQ talent. He was located at our Bentwater Club and truly believe we would cheer his return but he has a great spot overlooking the marina. We enjoyed the great okra as well.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST CRAWFISH AT THE BEST PRICE IN WILLIS/CONROE!!! 5lbs for $35 with corn, potatoes and sausage! Everyone else wants to upcharge. Great size, great flavor and just the perfect amount of spice! Super juicy as well! I haven’t tried anything else here but I hear the burgers are fantastic too! Travis is the Super cool owner and makes you feel right at home! His staff is friendly and offer great service! This is the place to eat!

The food is amazing hold back on the rosemary tho. Rather then that it’s a nice place to eat near the lake an the employees are great . I’m definitely coming back.

Gorgeous family atmosphere, Delicious brisket sandwich with French fries so Much more food to choose from….don’t forget about dessert…we got ours togo, it was Awesome cherry or blackberry cobblers
