I stopped here at 7pm on a Tuesday evening and I was seated right away. My server came right over and took my drink order (Dr. Pepper). When it was delivered and I took a sip, I had to ask for a replacement because I was served diet coke. She apologized and brought me a fresh Dr. Pepper right away. After a short time, she came back and took my order for the Sky-High Pot Roast with mashed potatoes.

I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and a side salad. Plus, I ordered macaroni and cheese. My friend also had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with green beans. The portions size was good. Both meatloafs and mashed potatoes were at room temperature. The macaroni and cheese was the best part of the meal! The waiter did a good job. Still disappointed in the meatloaf! Can’t get that out of my mind.

Went here for a Mother’s Day celebration on Saturday. I tried to pay for the bill on the QR code you can scan on the receipt. When the waitress came back, she said their system had been messing up and it didn’t go through. I showed her our bank account through our app and it took the money out. After a manager tried and also called the VP they said there’s nothing they could do because it didn’t go through on their end. So to our EMBARRASSMENT we had to ask family to cover for us until the money reversed. It eventually did and I thought nothing of it until today TUESDAY, Grinders tried to yet again take money out of our checking account. I will be calling to see why after so many days our card has been charged after it already being paid! The waitress’ kindness and service was the only good thing I have to say about this place. The food sucked and now I have to go out of my way to not only call Grinders but to call my bank to and mark this as fraud!

Ordered take out and my steak wrap was covered in grease. The to go box it came in had an actual puddle of grease in it that poured all over my table when I opened it. On top of that, the mac and cheese I was given was stouffers. I have always loved their mac and cheese and it was definitely stouffers this time. The grinders in Hartville is great but I will never be back to this location.

I have always enjoyed Grinders and my favorite is their Key West salad BUT…I ordered one yesterday only to realize the chicken they add is now glorified pressed lunch meat chicken, ugh. The lettuce was weathered and tasted odd.

We had a party of 11 on a Sunday afternoon so we were seated outside. Our server, Angel, was friendly and took great care of our group, who were split up at 3 tables. The service and food were outstanding! I highly recommend the New Phili!

My date and I got here a few minutes before closing because google had the wrong times posted. They didn’t even hesitate to seat us. The waitress politely told us when they closed and we apologized but she still served us. The food was hot and fresh and her attitude was positive the entire time. She never once rushed us out. I will definitely be back, next time just not at closing
