Fantastic new restaurant in the north valleys area! Service is quick and personal. The food is great with a really attention to detail. Notably, it’s also very affordable relative to portion size and quality. I’ve already gone 3 times and will certainly be back again!

Such an awesome place! I went there to catch up with a friend and was wowed by the whole experience. It’s brand new, absolutely beautiful, and much bigger than I expected. The employees were super friendly, and even though we were just there for happy hour snacks and drinks, I am sure the rest of the food options will be just as delicious! I asked Kelsea (our fantastic server) if i could buy some of their salsa and she made it happen! I cannot wait to take my whole family back there for a full meal!

All the food we had was very good. I especially like their salsa and tortilla soup. Delicious Bloody Mary as well!

New spot alert. Norte Cantina. New to the Redrock area of Reno, NV. When I walked in it was well lit and clean. Due to how New it is I could still smell the paint on the walls but also a great smell of food as well. My family was already there so I can’t speak on wait time to be seated but from what I saw arrive after me they seem to seat you quite quickly. The server we had was Eduardo. Very friendly and accommodating. The chips they put on the table with the salsa are sooooo good. Typically do not like restaurant chips because they lack salt or are too oily these were just right. (Salsa might be a but much for sensitive pallets or Littles, however). My little one had the Quesadilla Burger (he ate almost the whole thing)it came with a cup of fresh fruit. I had the AL Pastor El Grande Burrito, and my fiance had the Chimichunga AL pastor. These both come with Spanish rice and beans with a dollop of guac and some shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. What I loved about this… It was already seasoned. I didn’t need the salt/pepper at all. Such a rarerity I find these days. I also had one of the drinks off the drink menu but I wasn’t the one who ordered it so I forgot what it was exactly but it was good. (Side note.. I completely absent-mindedly drank this while I’m taking a medication. DO NOT DO THAT. I felt horrible after but at no fault of the restaurant. That was on me. And we partook in the House Churros for dessert so yummy. Perfect ration of whip cream and chocolate to indulge a little. The kid had a free cup of vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle. I can’t wait to go back and try out more of their menu and drinks. Also.. want to see the character of the restaurant once it has roots. Slightly bare with a couple of gret painted walls. 5 tvs total. 3 at the bar. One in the main dining and one in the back dining. Cheers.

Ok, so first off, I do want to say I agree with some of the reviews regarding the design & layout. It is a huge space and interesting as far as it kind of looks. It looks more sport bar’ish’ – which I’m not against! Suuuuuper long bar, which is great because they have an awesome happy hour menu. However, yes, it doesn’t strike me as a cute little Hispanic food bistro as the name portrays haha.

Looked at the menu not that many items geared towards American Mexican. Nice clean Place wonderful waitress. Chips and salsa were pretty good I asked if they had anything hotter? She brought out some what I thought was habanero sauce but it must have had some ghost peppers in it it is it had a really good flavor at the start but then it burned so much that you couldn’t hardly taste anything. My wife had a chicken torta that was really good. I had a burrito with beans and rice. The beans were not overloaded with lard.

Service first rate, food was good. A little noisy and open interior adds to it. Food appeared to be heated too long, sauce on enchiladas was crunchy.

Delicious food and really professional and friendly staff. Forgot to get a pic of my food, but it was damn good. Lot of drink variety, and the margs were solid. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere too; can’t wait for spring weather so we can hang out on the patio. Looks like they do bottomless mimosas Saturday and Sunday as well with breakfast options. Give them a try for sure!

I’m surprised I haven’t eaten here already but don’t regret the decision to have dinner here! I had the chicken fajitas and my girl had enchiladas! Both were very yummy! I do wish my fajitas had more tortillas served with them but still delicious none the less. But the enchiladas were the yummy was at! The chips and salsa was also good but a bit spicy for some of us lol. The atmosphere was pretty dull but could be because we came at the slower hours of the weekend. Our server was great and very attentive, checking on us at every passing moment he had.
