This location by Ontario Mills just opened. My wife and I decided to try it out on 7/18/23. We came in late in the evening so the place was not packed and we’re seated right away. The ambiance is great and has a nice diner atmosphere. The service still needs improvement as the servers may still be in their training phase. One of our order came out wrong and was missing food items. Our server was friendly but rushing most of the time. The food were not as fresh at it should be and may have been waiting in the kitchen for our server to serve them. We will be coming back to give it another try and taste their other food items.

I don’t usually write reviews but felt this was needed. My wife and I were excited for the grand opening of Norm’s in our neighborhood. We ordered the clam chowder and it was hot and tasty. Then came our shareable appetizer with comes with shrimp, chicken, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. I thought at first the onion rings were pretty thick and when I bit into it there was a crumbly texture. I cut it open and it exposed more of the flour/batter. Then when we bit into the mozzarella stick there was no melty cheese pull which let us know it was just at warm temperature. The waitress went to speak to the manager. She came back with the option to discount our meal or make a new one. We ended up just having it comped but still paid for the soup and drink we ordered.

Newly opened, this popular restaurant was bustling with customers on a Sunday afternoon. True to the Norms fashion, the food did not disappoint. I would try it again for breakfast if in the area. Of course I tried one of my favs, the fish and chips. The soups of the day both contained meat, so I opted for an extra salad. Even though the fish was a tad bit oily for me, the meal was nice.

This has to be the nicest and cleanest Norms I have ever been to. I was in a rush so I ordered online and went in as soon as I got there. Although my order had just went thru to their system, Amanda made sure it was being prepared and brought it right out to me when. It was done. Thank you, Amanda, for making my crazy morning less stressful. The food was delicious so overall it was a great visit.

Great service and customer service. The sampler was surprisingly good. Shrimp and onion rings were fried to a nice crisp. The lumber jack special was cooked to my specifications. I would strongly recommend this Norms.

Norms was fine. The food was better than expected and I liked the layout of the place, made for a nice little late night dinner before officially calling it a night. The service was great, especially from waitress Ashley. Overall it was a pretty nice dining experience.

We just had breakfast at Norm’s in Ontario and it was a wonderful experience. We were greeted and told it would be a 5 minute wait. After we arrived several other parties came in. We were seated within the time frame and 5 minutes later our amazing waitress Belen stopped by to say hello. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. She was also very busy but she made sure she took excellent care of us. She got our beverages and took our order. Our food came out about 10 minutes later. Everything was fresh and warm. We split one entree’ and she brought us an extra plate when she brought the food. She brought me an iced tea refill when my drink was half empty and kept my husband’s coffee cup filled. We were in and out in an hour. We can’t wait to return.

The place is good. It doesn’t have the limited time menu items yet due to it being a newer location. If you ever go during the nightshift, just want to say Amanda is amazing and takes care of all customers during that time. She communicates so well and makes everyone feel very welcome! I’m a night owl, so going in late is nice, but she made the experience even better.
