Really good green Chile salsa with fresh tortilla chips. Like, probably the best fresh green Chile salsa in town. They had a menudo special last Sunday and it was also the best menudo I’ve had in town. Their regular menu items are decent with fair prices. Made fresh to order.

We always ride by this restaurant on our first Friday art rambles and were recommended by a rider to eat here. We wanted some tameles To go as the festival had a hefty entrance fee, etc, and thought to go here. Ordering the tameles was an okay experience as they only had red, turns out receiving them was a lesser experience. Twenty minutes was spent waiting for six tameles, when given to us they were less warm than what you’d usually expect. When the to go box was opened it was discovered that there were no corn husk on the tameles, they were cold, dry and flavorless! Staff at the restaurant whilst we waited were unsanitary, one server putting her face a little too closely to the food and another putting her hands all over another tables chips and salsa, unorganized as the servers chatted amongst themselves of whose serving what tables and by the looks of it a messy kitchen. In my own conclusion of complaints, I and my family won’t dine or takeout here again.

Highly recommend Nopalitos on Mesquite. The red enchiladas were delicious. So to were the Chile Colorado and soft tacos. And better yet was the service! You will not be disappointed! Must try!

Was excited for the enchiladas bit ultimately let down. For $21, I had my expectations pretty high. What I got was un-melted cheese, inconsistent layering, and rubbery tortillas. We also ordered renellos, which were small and lacking flavor. Also, the green sauce is not what you would expect. It’s the same green chili you get with the chips. After tip lunch was $50+. Food doesn’t match the price point.

Nopalito is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces! I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. Service is always friendly, and the green chile salsa is a flavor explosion.

Customer service was great, our waiter was quit and polite. The food was fair at most, the chili relleno was terrible. My boy did enjoy the tostada/nachos. The red chili pork was ok. The salsa need more chili .

Another good local restaurant staple that has endured the test of time – literally decades. I would call it a Mexican restaurant for those who like their green chile mild to low medium at best. It’s a place I bring people from out of the region to eat. I do enjoy their food but prefer far more heat than I can get here. Consistently excellent service- which is no small feat given how crowded it is at peak times.

My Dad has brought me here twice and have to say it is a good classic local restaurant. Fine is good. I think I’m loving their red slightly more! Will be back. Thanks.
