Fallen out of love with dry tacos? I was pleasantly surprised with the deliciousness of Nopal”s Tacos. I walked into a Latin inspired decor with music in the background. A streamlined menu makes choosing your meal easier. Since it was my first time, I asked the cashier what he suggested, and he said the Beria stewed beef tacos. I sat down and admired the decor and enjoyed the salsa music playing in the background. The wait time for the food was minimal. I got three tacos with the broth in a small cup. At first bite, the meat in the taco was juicy and tender as if it were cooked for hours. The broth to dip the tacos was very flavourful with just the right amount of salt and could be eaten by itself. The tacos had great structure and texture to hold the meat. However, the portion size was a bit small for the price. If you’re a home cook that doesn’t want to cook dinner, then consider getting your appetizer here. Bring friends to enjoy the delicious food and great atmosphere.

What a great small place. We ordered the elote as appetizers, and the al pastor, the chorizo, and the birria combo tacos. Everything was tasty and fresh, cooked perfectly!

This place is great honestly one of the best options for Mexican food in jersey they had a bunch of options and every was enjoyable. I really loved the nachos with steak and the elite corn. They also have Mexican coke which is such a nice touch. Perfect place if your in the mood for Mexican! And lovely staff

Love the butternut squash taco special! I’m already recommending to my family and friends because it’s so hard to find interesting/ flavorful vegetarian options for Mexican food. Can’t wait to come back and try the other protein options in burritos etc.

Been here a few times now for both dine in and take out. It’s definitely worth checking out! Prices are pretty average but wow the salsas are incredible. The mushroom asada is a home run for me and I love refried beans and the fall butternut squash special. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick. Definitely will come back to try the birria ramen!

Hate the American Style, meat scrap tacos with no flavor popping up everywhere? Nopal is the solution! The tacos are super authentic, the meat slowly cooked and you can tell there is a lot of attention to detail in the making process. The barbacoa and short rib tacos were so juicy and flavorful, and the sauces had flavors that danced on your tongue. Definitely will be back!

I love this place! Very clean and friendly. Food is excellent! My favorites are the steak nachos, the birria tacos with cheese, and the elote! Such a vibe dining inside as well. The wall art gives it a nice touch. All based on mexican shows, singers and games.
