Super authentic Chinese food in this newly opened restaurant in Southlake. The noodles are very fresh and tasty. The portion is big. Shrimp with walnut has good presentation and taste very good! You won’t go wrong with the traditional Chinese dishes…noodles, dumplings, etc. try all!!!

On the first day of the trial opening of this restaurant, my colleague and I came to visit. We ordered walnut shrimp and sliced fish in spicy oil.Amazing,!The owner was very enthusiastic and sent us desserts. I highly recommend walnut shrimp and taro pastry! The desserts are handmade. I think this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Southlake! My colleague said that she would come back every month to try different dishes!

Must have been opening jitters. The noodles that was served was inedible. Way too undercooked. I like firm springy noodles but this batch could have benefited from another 45secs in the bath. I told them it was undercooked but was ignored. I had to get the whole thing to go so I can recook it at home. The soup itself was savory but the sliced beef was too thin making it tasteless and textureless. I really wanted to like the lanzhou noodles but was sorely disappointed. The rolled beef was tasty although the wrapping was a tad too chewy for me. Too thick of a wrapper. However the fillings with cuke, cilantro, sauce and sliced beef was very pleasant and tasty. I had the pad thai to go since my wife was craving it even though I questioned the wisdom of getting padthai at a chinese place and as expected, she did not enjoy it. This time the rice noodles were overcooked and a 16$ mess of congealed starch with not much flavor. I will give them another try since I really want them to be good. I dont relish driving 50 minutes to get a decent meal. There’s a decent place further up the road and its still my goto place if I feel a craving for xlb and nurou mein but this place is closer and hopefully it will get better. please let it get better

Went here for a lunch date and it was an amazing experience. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. They have the best Hot n Sour soup I’ve ever had and the General tso chicken was delicious. They also have great Thai boba teas!! Joane the owner was so kind to us and I’d recommend this place 10/10!

Atmosphere is good, service was ok (Given the restaurant just opened recently), food was terrible.

It was a pleasure to eat at noodle works. Their freshly handmade noodles and dumplings are the BEST!! I came in the first time they opened, great staff and ambiance! I had the steamed veg dumplings and veg noodle soup, it was delicious! Go get yourself some noodles if you haven’t done so yet!! I’m sorry it was that good I forgot to take a picture:(

Had dinner tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest to them is not charge extra for rice. Rice should be included! If you haven’t tried this new place it’s a must. Next to Sprouts!!

The restaurant is clean with nice and simple décor. I am giving this place 4 stars for now only because I had two dishes. The menu is slightly misleading. I had noodles with minced Beef sauce, but in the description, it said it had in it chili oil. However it didn’t, and I had to ask for some on the side. The dish was good but wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted hand-pulled noodles with chili oil (the only place I know is Highland or Uncle Zhou). I still like it though. The only disappointment was the Xiao Long Bao. Each dumpling fell apart. There was a lack of flavor, if you craving dumplings I would go to DH. I’ll still come back and try other dishes and update this review.
