Absolutely amazing and authentic Italian food! The staff are so incredibly nice and thoughtful and they completely made my family’s weekend. We were only in St. Augustine for two nights and it was so good we had to come for both of them. It’s on a very cute street and the atmosphere is amazing. Highlight of my week! Best food in the state of Florida! 100% would recommend.

True authentic Italian food made by Adamo with his grandmothers recipes. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Italian music playing in the back ground while you enjoy the best Italian food you’ll have. I live 14 hours away and would make the trip down here just for this place.

Wow!!! Paul was amazing! Everyone that came to our table was! We wanted to split the spaghetti and meatballs because we weren’t super hungry and without asking they brought it out in 2 bowls for us! We never had to ask for a thing! Super attentive staff, AMAZING food, great atmosphere! We will definitely be coming here to eat every time we are in town! They even put candles in my cake at my husbands request and sang Happy Birthday to me! Thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday amazing and special!

Had an amazing dinner here with a party of 5. Service, food and atmosphere were phenomenal. It’s a small restaurant with a very intimate feel and small menu of beautifully prepared dishes. We waited about 20 minutes for a table but there were attentive and seated us quickly.

Small, non-pretentious place. There are only 5 tables, so you have to wait outside. Food is authentic. My husband is a former chef who knows a lot about food. We ordered the fried calamari as our appetizer and shared one entree, pasta with bolognese sauce. And for dessert we had a slice of tiramisu. Everything was delicious.

Upon entering, we were welcomed to the table in kitchen area, to see where all the “magic” happens. Nino, our server greeted us as if we were family. We made our selection based off the Chef’s recommendations. The quality and flavor of the food was outstanding. Simple Italian ingredients done right. I have been around the world including Italy, many times and this was by far one of the best meals. Saved Nonnas Trattoria, for our last night in St Augustine, best meals we have had yet. Upon leaving Nino and the Chef wished us well. Truly stellar staff and food.

The owner is a fantastic chef, but not only that a former veteran. Very friendly & attentive staff. My girlfriend and I came just after it stormed and got lucky to be seated with another couple who was kind enough to share the table with us to avoid a wait. The entire experience was wonderful the chicken fettuccine Alfredo is to die for!!! The owner definitely has passion for his craft as he comes to talk with each table after their meal. Hats off to this establishment will always support a locally owned restaurant over a chain. If you want the best Italian in town your visit is not complete without Nonnas! Thank you for making my girlfriends birthday dinner one to remember.

Visited this cute little place tonight as part of a food tour in St. Augustine. Had the bolognese and pasta with Alfredo sauce. Both were amazing. Alfredo is the best I’ve EVER had! The chef was amazing and made us feel like part of the family! Will definitely visit again!!
