Today I was a first time visitor to this establishment. Everything was homemade and so good. Today, Friday, was seafood day and they do not skimp on the shrimp and crawfish in their recipes. I think my favorite was the seafood lasagna but I can’t resist crispy fried CATFISH. If you know, you know. I love a slightly sweet homemade potato salad and this lady’s did not disappoint. Every single lady that worked there was very nice and welcoming. The whole place was spotless, the ingredients were of high quality, and the place is obviously ran with pride, as it should be. Very attentive staff kept our drinks refilled. And let’s not forget to talk about that bread pudding. Again, house made and delicious. Ladies, I will be back on a different day to see what else you have to offer. We loved it. Thanks again

Home cookin’ at its finest! We rolled in here on a short trip to NOLA from Jackson and they practically had to roll us out! So much good food. I had an extra serving of red beans and rice since it is one of my faves. During the pandemic the buffet isn’t self serve but the waitresses will bring you a little bit of everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! Come hungry because this is the kind of food that’s made with love. And everyone there was so nice! Seriously, if any of y’all are yankees and worried about going to a soul food spot off the beaten path, stop worrying! This is the closest thing you can get to having a nice church lady invite you to her house for Sunday dinner. I cannot say enough about how welcoming, homey and delicious this experience was and we will definitely be stopping by again!
