The BEST ITALIAN we’ve eaten in the states!! We just got back from Italy 8 days ago and were hoping for something close to what we experienced on our trip. Jerry and his staff at Nonna’s not only delivered on our hopes but took us back to Italy! He and his staff were warm and welcoming while the atmosphere in the new dining room was just like the restaurants we miss.

I go to school in the Bronx right next to Arthur Ave (Little Italy). None of those restaurants come close to Nonna Rosa!! The pizza, the pasta, the entrees, the appetizers, everything is delicious!! The owners and workers are some of the most friendliest people around. Tony and Jerry have cooked some of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. If you want to just come grab a slice, or if you want to sit down and enjoy a nice authentic Italian meal, Nonna Rosa is the place to go! I highly recommend it! Ask for the Sfincione (pictured) next time you go, it’s so so good !

Jerry Daniel and Tony are the absolute best. It’s a family place and that’s what makes the food because it’s made with nothing but love!

I had dinner here with my uncle and we loved their food. We had the spicy calamari to start, he had chicken Francese and I had the grilled seafood. I substituted prawn for regular shrimp. The swordfish, cuddle fish (calamari), Pulpo (octopus) were all cooked perfectly and delicious. We finished up with cappuccinos and a tartuffo ice cream plus I took a few slices of pizza home.

I hate giving bad reviews, but the pizza here is absolutely awful, in my opinion. Cheap ingredients, poorly constructed and cut, undercooked, you name it. It was falling apart and greasy, and I threw it in the garbage. On top of it, it was nearly $20 for a personal pizza, a half topping, and a drink….

Best Pizza! Best Crust and Sauce! Best Food! Best Owners/Staff/Service ! I love this place! I order twice a week since I discovered it. My kids love it and they are so picky!! I love it and I am Italian so you know it’s good!!! So happy to have found this place!! They are super accommodating too. I ordered the wrong pie and they came back with the pie I meant to order. Who does that??? Love these people!

The food is excellent! The service is friendly and superb. The pricing is reasonable, especially for the quality of food you are receiving. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The pizza is excellent as well. Make sure to get “Tony’s Famous Chicken” and then try it with Veal, you won’t be disappointed

We held a family event here last month and it was better than we could have ever hoped for. The food was excellent and the staff were really nice, helpful, and attentive, both on the day itself and throughout planning it. All our guests said how impressed they were, and our families are all going to be holding more events over the next few years so Nonna Rosa will be the first place we call every time now. Couldn’t have been happier with them!
