Walked in at 130pm on a Wednesday to get a sandwich since they are featured in the “Twism” app with a deal. They were open, but they might as well have not been. Half the lights were off, and the entire business was one super old women sitting at the front who wouldn’t respond to us. Is this a money laundering front??? Cause it’s not a real business. That had to be a joke.

Soooo sad. After waiting for 15 minutes in an empty store, at lunchtime (should have been our first clue!) Nona made her way over to make sandwiches, (Should have been our 2nd clue) from her seat at the front door. After ordering, long after ordering, I see Nona at the sink with a scrub brush, washing off some meat. We promptly paid for the chips we had eaten while waiting and left. I’m sorry, but, know when to say when. How is this place even still open? Soooo sad.

Got poor service at a sad deli. Guy on Thursday was pathetic, won’t go back. Out of everything. Gave sparse amount of olive oil and fake cheese. Rude employee was icing on the cake.

We liked the place and the guy working was super cool and friendly. The sandwiches were undoubtedly poor though. The bread seemed dated and there was hardly any meat in either. We will not be going back.

I was scared to try this place because of the other reviews, but our experience was pretty good. Our sandwiches had the perfect amounts of meat, veggies and condiments and the bread was fresh. They were very good. The service was slow, but in all fairness, the lady making the sandwiches was like 105 years old. She also couldn’t work the credit card machine, (understandably, given the age) so we had to wait for someone to come back from break to ring us up.

I’ve been there for years. Her subs are the best. No one can beat her on that. If your visiting Santa Barbara pass by and try them

Yikes! Someone needs to help Nona out. This isn’t the shop it used to be. Nearly all shelves empty. Few options to choose from. Only cash accepted.

Someone needs to help Nona! Things have completely deteriorated. Have been going there many years and when it was Tino’s. She was there all by herself and the front of the stored looked cluttered and trashed. Then my favorite sandwich was a mess, only i smidge o turkey, wrong condiments, and the order came out all wrong in general, threw most of it out.and nearly inedible. I don’t know why there was no help and Nona clearly needs someone. Hope her family comes to her rescue.

Nona was so sweet! She hooked us up with some great sandwiches when we were on our way to the airport. Selection of grocery items is a little odd, but everything we got was great.
