This place was great. The inside looked like Bourbon St! They start you our with pig skins that were pretty dang good. I had the red fish Pontchartrain and it was delicious cooked to perfection. My buddy had the blackened red fish and he really enjoyed it. The service was spot on. Wi definitely go back next time I’m in town.

Great food, good service! Lots of good, spicy dishes without being too hot. Brunch is amazing too! Fried green tomatoes are SO good!

Cool little new Orleans type restaurant. The decor inside is spot on with bourbon street. Service was good. Food quality was very good. Small bar that seats around 6. Large covered seating area outside with ceiling fans. We had the blackened salmon, with potatoes and succotash. Also the red beans and rice with sausage. Wedge salad and boudin balls for the appetizer.

The food was decent. I had the crawfish toast and a trio (etouffee, gumbo, and jambalaya). The toast and gumbo were delicious. The jambalaya was spicy, but it was cold. The etouffee lacked flavor. I would still come back, and the service and atmosphere were great.

Had a wonderful dinner at NOLA on Second as a late Mother’s Day celebration this past weekend. I had the smother Cajun chicken with rice and potatoes. My mom had blackened salmon with succotash. I will definitely get the succotash next time! We also shared a beignet sundae. Everything was wonderful!

Came at 730 on a Wednesday and it was busy with celebrations and couples. The ambience was nice and the lube music was a good fit. Took a few minutes to get seated. Ordered a bottle of wine and the Waitress told us she was 20 and didn’t know how to pour it. Also got raw oysters which were good. Ordered a burger and fries and blackened swordfish po’boy with a side of potato salad. The burger was bland and flavorless, the fries were overdone. The po’boy was tasty with plenty of swordfish, but the potato salad was pretty horrendous with no salt/pepper or really any flavor besides bland potatoes and mayo. The pork rinds were a nice touch as a starter instead of bread. Overall, I’d come back for oysters and wine and maybe a po’boy with different sides or try one of the specials.

Absolutely amazing! This was the greatest dining experience I have ever had in Alabama, the atmosphere was perfect and really feels like you’re transported into New Orleans, the drinks are mixed with true experience and taste amazing while being perfectly strong, and the food was absolutely delicious and you can really taste the passion from the chefs. Thank you for the perfect date night!

Portions were a little on the small side. Muffuletta was dry rather than moist. Red beans and rice did not have the zing that I am used to. Gumbo was good. Great atmosphere! Service was swift and friendly.

We had to run to Gadsden for a few things today so we decided to try and have lunch at Harp and Clover but the power was out in the kitchen, something that couldn’t be helped so they kindly gave us a gift card to come back. They have a sister restaurant, Nola on 2nd, so we gave it a try because we’ve never been. Let me tell you, brunch was fantastic! A definite must try, and we will be back. Complements to the chef and staff this is our new place!
