Got food to go and had a good experience overall. I had a sushi roll and seafood curry The food itself was delicious and the fish was fresh. Some of the reviews claiming smelly fish seem to be mistaken. We also had excellent service, from the person who took our order over the phone to the front desk to the person who gave us the food. The only reason I would take away a star is for the prices. For the portions, the prices are a bit higher than other similar places. Although we did not eat inside, it looked nice and we plan on dining inside next time.

I found the sauces here generally sweeter here than at the late Akira, and I preferred their’s slightly. However, service was prompt and friendly here, and that frequently had been an issue at Akira. All in all definitely worth a return visit!

The curry is just the right fire you need to cure the winter chill. The atmosphere is welcoming and almost home vibe. The hostess and workers are like family when I visit.

I rarely leave reviews but I had to for this one. As someone who is an avid Japanese hibachi food goer. So I’ve had my fair share month in and month out. This is by far the most disappointing hibachi restaurant I’ve been to. In terms of price, portion and quality. Classic case of overcharge and under deliver. I’ve ordered the lunch hibachi numerous times and this time I’m finally fed up. 15.98 for a combo lunch portion of shrimp and salmon with 3 pieces of shrimp and a no exaggeration very small piece of salmon, maybe half of a whole. Mind you I can go to places that will not only give you large pieces of salmon but also throw in pieces of shrimp with more than generous portions of rice and entree at the exact same price as these guys (lunch price). Never again. I literally chuckled when I opened my small box to see what awaited me. Last time I go to a place that’s confused on whether it wants to be a Japanese hibachi or Indian food restaurant.

The main dinner was very good. Had the calamari appetizer and it was not that great. If I had to guess it was bought frozen and not prepared there. It came out as 6 calamari “onion rings” and did not taste fresh. They also need to freshen up the place. The single seats around the booths are all worn out. Price was average for thai.

For spending several hundred dollars here they sure do not appreciate repeat customers. I can’t tell you how many times we order to go at full price only to get the worst cuts of fish that should have been scrapped. Salmon was so chewy and gummy today I had to write a review. Also if you like a salad to go the lettuce is all white from the bottom of the head barely any green. Usually the food is great but you cannot shaft takeout customers especially if they are regulars that know what the food should/could taste like!

The food there is very good! The cuts of fish on my sushi were very thick! My only complaint is that there is no music, which sounds silly but if you have a lul in conversation and it’s not particularly busy its almost completely silent.

Went here for hibachi dinner. The cook was one of the best we’ve had and the sushi was delicious. However it was very expensive relative to other places, the see sizes were significantly smaller, and the shrimp toss was done with egg pieces. Seem like a cheap move for an expensively priced hibachi.

I’ve ordered here twice & loved it! Every time I order from this place, I always order at least 6 lunch hibachis. Called to place my order on Tuesday, was told there too busy for me to call back in 45 minutes. so, I took my business elsewhere! Great food but Poor customer service.

The food is great and comparable to Benihana. Sometimes the quality of service varies depending on the amount of traffic at the bar in relation to the rest of the restaurant. It’s a small family owned business so that is understandable. Definitely a good pick for lunch.
