Do you know what dish is the most popular in China? That is definitely hot pot. No matter in the north or in the south, people like hot pot very much and every region has its local features. Usually, there is a metal hot pot in the middle of table. When the soup in the pot is kept simmering, dishes are put into the pot. Beef, mutton, fish and vegetables are the main dishes. Friends or relatives sit down together to have a feast. It’s a good way to relax.
No.9 Alley hotpot is the most authentic Sichuan hot pot in Seattle. Ox aorta and tripes are very fresh and delicious. Mushroom pot ,pork tripe stew chicken pot and tomato pot are also a good choice, its soup tastes fresh and sweet.

A solid hotpot joint with cheap prices. Be careful of their spiciness, their heat can get extremely hot. I recommend going for mild spiciness on the soup. Get the pork belly!

Loved the green sichuan broth and the sauce bar. Sauce bar even had suggestions on what to mix together. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Service was very good. Although expensive we got a complimentary watermelon juice for spending over $100. The juice was a perfect sweet finish to a satisfying meal.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – ordered the AYCE bone broth. Didn’t get the sauce since the broth was very flavorful. They were out of quail egg :(. Good: lamb, fatty beef belly, pork belly, fried fish cake, beef tripe, beef artery, napa cabbage, tong ho (arugula), shiitake mushroom, king oyster mushroom, and fresh fish paste that you scoop into the broth and make fish balls (more like lumps in our case :p)

I really liked the HotPot here. Service was good! They have lots of options. Everything was fresh and the mushroom broth and the bone broth were delicious. To order we used their website and it was very confusing. We needed to ask many times to the waitress how to order by the website or we would be ordering too much food. The Buffet was $28.99 but if we wanted more than one broth and the access to the sauce bar we had to pay more. I think you shouldn’t be paying more for the sauce bar. That should be included in the buffet. The sauce bar also included desserts but there weren’t many options.

Super fast service, large menu, and delicious food!! We had the bone broth and the spicy peppercorn broth and both were great. $4 seems a little steep for the all-important sauces, but you definitely can’t go without it. We ordered pork, beef, and lamb with the all you can eat, along with a bunch of mushrooms, fish cakes, and tripe for sides. Everything was clean, service was friendly, and the food was great. Definitely coming back!

No. 9 Alley Hot Pot has amazing flavors if you are craving hot pot! I love that they add goji berries to the soup. You get a choice of multiple flavors (we had spicy, mushroom, bone broth and veggie). Whether you want seafood, pork, or tofu, you will have many flavors to cook in, and comes with noodles and other goodies to add. There is also a full sauce bar — very impressive number of options! This feast made the perfect afternoon, and of course we had leftovers for later! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Please try this hidden gem and try all the amazing foods!

Great food and the price is reasonable. There is AYCE option, which we didn’t utilize because some of us don’t eat that much, but we can definitely see how it may be worth it for different groups.

This place is great! Not THE best hot pot spot in the Seattle area (recommend hai di lao or dolar) but very humble and delicious all you can eat. I don’t know of other AYCE hot pot spots in the metro area. The meats are great and I can’t believe I can have as much as I want AYCE also comes with noodles and fried rice as options. Just be aware that you will need to pay if you have tons of leftovers since they’re trying to combat food waste and people abusing the AYCE system.
