Service was really upbeat and friendly, but no check-ins for drinks even sitting at the bar. Food came out super fast, but not in like a super fresh way. I really didn’t enjoy the meatloaf entree, but the Cuban was much better. Everything was really gray and bland besides the corn (?) it was served with. Pretty cool bar area, though. Definitely got a locals-only vibe.

We were staying right around the corner for a night and while we are frequent visitors to Niwot, we hadn’t been here before. As we’d heard only good things about the Tavern, we dropped in for mid-afternoon snacks and a drink. The drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced and our appetizers were excellent. We thought the guacamole was much better than expected. The service was also very warm and friendly. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went back for dinner when we found that our favorite local place was closed for the evening. Dinner was even more enjoyable than our earlier visit. We will be back soon to try some more of the excellent food and service!

Attempted to dine in months ago and we were turned away. Because we had our dogs with us even though we requested to sit outside. Apparently, dogs need to be leashed outside of the patio area (on the opposite side of the fence)

We celebrated our Anniversary there and the lady server was so nice to gives us tequila shots on the house. Food is always good there! Staffs are friendly. Just a little side note.. the balance vegetables are too dry when served.

This has become my new favorite! Stacey and the staff are super friendly, the food is great, and it’s just an awesome atmosphere. If you haven’t been here, go. You’ll come back for sure. I can’t say enough. Great place!

My wife and I get here a few times a month… One of our favorite places. Just a short drive from Longmont. Dinner or lunch is what we have been there for, usually with friends or family. They have an outdoor patio with umbrella seating when weather permits, indoor seating at the bar or normal booths and tables for larger parties. Plenty of food to choose from, have not been dissatisfied with any dishes we have ordered… My only issue is they changed the fried pickles… still awesome, but wish they were back to the smaller “potato fry” size, not the larger dill quarter they are now.

I wouldn’t recommend the entrees or salads based on what we had. It’s something I could have made myself. Fully average, even a bit below. Stick with the burgers, apps, and bar food. Good service, seemed busy. Maybe just an off night for food.
