My tastebuds are soaring after eating at niu life Kitchen. Chef Sha’anan, made the perfect Mediterranean lunch. The best Falafel and Tehina I have ever eaten. As well as fresh baked sourdough Zaatar flatbread made with Taro that he grows on his farm…YUM

I’m not vegan or even vegetarian but, at least most of the time, I try to eat relatively healthy foods. At Niu Life I can do that and still get a mouthful of amazing flavors and texture. The coconut teriyaki sandwich is probably the best-tasting teriyaki I’ve ever had. And it was massive. Add a slice of plant-based cheesecake and you’ll be in heaven. Wowzers!

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked inside a non-descript building is food so exceptional in taste and quality that you will dream about it. Velvety coconut (niu) based delicacies (cheesecakes, mousses, dips, pestos) are a densely creamy in texture and so rich in flavor. The plant-based sandwiches (on house-baked breads) are huge and delicious. Everything is hand-crafted on-site of ingredients primarily sourced on Maui (rather than shipped 5,000 miles). I’m a foodie and just sayin’: if taste matters, you gotta check it out for lunch.
