Wow just wow, i was not expecting such great food at a food court mall. I’ve been to many different ramen and sushi places over the years and this was one of the best I’ve ever been to. The ramen was solid, the sushi was solid, great sake selection, and hands down the Best gyoza I’ve ever eaten.

I am going to give three stars for now, but will definitely go back. Although we eat sushi, we also like a variety of other asian/oriental foods. Not being familiar with “sushi bars”, we found Nippon Express a little confusing. Fortunately there is a menu on the window which helped. The assumption here seems to be that the patrons know what they want and are accustomed to sushi bars. The quality of the food was very good and we especially liked the crab salad.

Their ramen is good. We had the pork ramen and the beef ramen. The pork had a creaminess soup to it although it was lacking some flavor. It did have mild spiciness which is perfect. The beef ramen did have more flavor and had a miso paste flavor which is pretty good. It had a good amount of noodles but it needed more soup base. I would come back because it’s the closest place to a ramen I like. It’s definitely worth a try.

I eat here every so often with my wife. The service, quality and the venue is league’s better than the food court just around the corner. Staff are always polite and mannerly and seem in high spirits all the time.

This place place is always awesome and the sushi is always fresh. The new expansion adds a level of upscale cozy romance. Each time we visit, we receive greetings from friendly service staff. This place is consistently good.
