We love this place. However they need to update their times online. We drove 40 minutes to come eat here and it’s closed. This is the third time this has happened. The guy working is always a little rude but we still go because the food is so good! PLEASE UPDATE YOUR TIMES ONLINE.

We ordered delivery and not only was the amount of food way less than expected for the price, none of us that ordered fried rice got fried rice. I do not recommend ordering delivery from this place.

We wanted to try a new restaurant for a birthday dinner. Service was slow due to only one person working the floor. We waited at the front to be seated for 5 minutes. After being sat at a booth, the waiter didn’t greet us/get drink orders for 10 minutes. We found a bug in one of our soups and it was replaced. While eating, I had to swat the same type of bug away from my food (it came floating down in front of me). Lastly, it was overpriced considering the amount of food you get on top of it just not being the “best” Japanese food we’ve had in Macon. Probably would’ve been more satisfied at one of the similar restaurants we’ve been to 100 times.

We had a great server and the food was delicious. However, the portions for dinner were less than a lunch portion and at a Hibachi and Sushi place I have never had this small of a portion of food, especially for the price which at Dinner was quite pricey. It would have received a 5 star rating if they were not so stingy with the food. We did not get what we paid for.

I had the Bulgogi Bento Box. It was in the $10-$15 range for typical downtown lunches. There was plenty of food and the service was great. The bulgogi was mediocre. I mean not terrible but for sure not the best I have ever had. All the other items in the box tasted great.

I was told this was the best sushi in Macon. I was really let down, the fish was fresh and salmon sashimi was great but that’s not all we had unfortunately. The other rolls I felt like Kroger could have done better. They all lacked flavor on top of that they didn’t even have real Wasabi, and the paste they did have was more of a green playdough than green horsey..

Macon doesn’t have a shortage of hibachi restaurants (6+ and counting) so we’ve become accustomed to standard fare and taste…..until we tried Ninja. This is definitely one of the best we’ve had in this area. My family opted for hibachi offerings of veggie lovers and salmon. Each meal is served with choice of white or fried rice (1.25 extra), teriyaki noodles, tossed salad and soup. Both soup choices (miso and onion) were tasty. Portion sides were moderate but filling. The stir fried veggies were cooked just rigit. Ninja has done an excellent job of scaling ordinary hibachi fare into a flavorful dining experience.
