Can I say enough nice things about nine giant? Nope. Came here for the first time today, got there around 4:30 and stayed until 7:30 with friends. First, it is extremely clean. Second, the food is extremely good. Third, it’s a brewery so I was ready not to like the “beer”, however I had something delightful with skeleton in the name, it was deliciously fruity. Fourth, all the food was amazing. They have a small and seasonal menu, we had the Mexican street corn, nachos, and pretzel for the table. Fabulous. I had the chicken tikka masala which was perfect, better than I’ve had at actual Indian restaurants. Perfectly spicy without going overboard. Portions were generous. Their staff is efficient and clean, they cleaned up anything needed super fast and were friendly. We loved it. Exceeded any expectations I had for a place we just stopped into.

Had high hopes for this place. All the reviews looked amazing and the food looked even better. When I got there the menu was bland. Nobody was really in the establishment it was around 1:00 lunch time. Looked at the menu didn’t really know what I wanted really didn’t have anything that they had in their other pictures. I got the grilled chicken sandwich. Was not impressed. It was even more sad with the drink and a side it was $10 extra so I spent $25 on a grilled chicken sandwich. Not sure what the deal, is but they stated that the menu changes daily which is very odd very unhappy with this. If the sandwich and the meal with everything was around 16 bucks would have been worth it. for 25 bucks too much for what they offer. Also ordered mac and cheese but instead I go like chicken Alfredo which clearly was not what I ordered however I didn’t complain. I did that day my friend that came there bought something it was really good it was like a steak sandwich still $25 for a sandwich drink and fries it’s too much when you can get like a decent size steak and mashed potatoes at a five-star restaurant but you live and you learn. However what I recommend this other people I mean the reviews were positive and it was okay but I just think it was too much if I had to do it again I probably wouldn’t have went there

The Pesto Chicken Mac n Cheese was delicious. However, I didn’t like the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Overall, I liked the vibe and service at this place. They also have a patio seating area in the back.

Stopped in for a pint as part of the Cincinnati brewery tour. The beer was one of my favorites. The food was good, staff was friendly, service was quick.

Just moved to Pleasant Ridge and came across Nine Giant. Great selection of beer and tasty IPAs. Smoke pulled pork nachos were soooo good. We’ve found our new local watering hole. Great spot.

Cincinnatians are fortunate to have dozens of fine breweries to sample. Most have outstanding beer and a few have excellent food. Nine Giant might be the best combination of the two. They offer a wide range of styles (lagers, ales, sours) that are always on the mark. But visiting only to drink beer is missing half the point as the kitchen serves a solid selection of food choices. A recent visit coincided with a Lenten Friday and we had the best fish lunch I can recall: Panko Haddock and pom frites.

This afternoon a friend and I went in for lunch. I ordered the wings and the pommel fries to share. The fries were great per usual, but the wings were terrible. These wings were dry and way too charred on the outside. They looked nothing like the pictures online. The wings were not edible. I went and asked if the wings were missing the sauce and was told the sauce was on the wings. Nine giant typically knocks it out of the park, but this was a extreme miss and I will not be back anytime soon.

The food and service is great, but space is limited, especially if your party is larger. Just be aware of that during peak times. There’s available seating out back which is doable during nicer weather. We had a party of six and there was no seating inside, but thankfully the weather permitted so our group sat behind the bar/restaurant outside. It worked out. The staff is attentive and pleasant. Not a ton of food choices, but everything was delicious on the menu that our party enjoyed. The home-brewed beer is excellent and there’s enough flavors to satisfy almost any palette. Parking can be a challenge during busy times. We found a space on the street and there’s a paid parking lot across the street for $6.00 which most people opt for. With countless brew pubs that seem to open up on a monthly basis around Cincinnati, this is one you have to check out. Nine Giant is all about the beer and delicious food it seems, which was fine by us. Thanks to the crew at NG for a great experience. We will definitely return to try more drinks and menu items. ✌

Stopping through Cincy and this place has good ratings. Will say, I looked at review and saw wings so that was a draw for my teenager, yet they didn’t have them when we were there. Tried two beers – an IPA and a brown ale. That one was very very good. Food decent as well. Grilled cheese yummy. Only complaint is that for the price, the burger and other sandwich should come with fries. Overall, a good stop for us.
