Called right when they opened for a 6:30 reservation and they had a spot for us. The food was amazing! they started us with complimentary bread/brushetta then our appetizer was stuffed mushrooms (fungi ripieni). I could have just eaten that all day. It was soo good. I ordered a penne con pollo and my dinner companion ordered chicken marsala. Then we finished with tiramisu cake and a chocolate cake. The chicken marsala is off menu and they also have chicken parm off menu too. I have no complaints and know we will be going again.

Awesome meal. We have not been here in a while and wanted to come back and support them. They were busy and short staffed, but it was worth it. We will be back again soon.

Amber and I finally were able.to connect to celebrate my birthday last night. We were both going to be in Raleigh so I searched Google Maps for restaurants near our location. My favorite food is Italian so decided to give Nina’s a whirl! To start we were trying to set up her phone to take a pic and the bartender, Chris, noticed and came outside to take it. Chris also ended up being our waiter and made us feel right at home. He was amazing! We recognized they are a little short staffed and service would take longer which gave us visiting/talking time. They have a herb garden where the chef (Roberto?) And Chris get fresh herbs for the drinks and dishes We ordered the Eggplant Rolletini and Gorganzolla Salad to share. The entrees were the Diver Scallops and Ravioli with Salmon. Chris brought the best Salted Carmel ice cream (Gelato?) with whipped cream and a candle for my bday. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will most certainly be back!

Great meal – like a true Italian meal! Fresh food, great staff, attentive but not too much. It’s like your at home and can sit and chat and not get rushed out.

Ignore the wine menu. Whatever you order, they will bring you something else (cheaper) and try to sneak it by you. They’ll open it before you have a chance to see it, and when you find the mistake, they say “our distributor sent us the wrong thing’. Really!!! It’s the distributors fault that you brought me the wrong wine? And they still charge you the higher price. Crooks!!!!

We both ordered pasta dishes and they were like a soup. Waiter never checked on us once we ordered. My wife wanted more Parmesan and water but there was nobody to help us. 4% service charge because of raising costs but they also raised costs by $4-6 across the menu. First and last time going.

We checked out this restaurant on Valentine’s Day and were impressed with the wide variety of selections and professional service. There were several menu items that didn’t contain the heavy sauces that often come with Italian food. Also, the tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had. We look forward to going back.

I usually go to a restaurant a few times before putting forth a review. This was my third time at Nina’s and all three times the food has been exquisite and the service outstanding. Our server/waiter has been Anthony and he is as I previously stated outstanding. The great thing here they work as a team everyone on the staff is always checking things and making sure the patrons needs are being met. They have a very good wine list. So if you haven’t been to Nina’s I would advise you to go for some great food and top notch service.

HOW CAN AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT NOT HAVE RIGATONI? They weren’t sure of how to make a burbon sour. It was ok and the food was good. A bit pricey.
