Ninas cafe is one of my favorite empanadas places. They sell them at the Burlingame farmers market and a physical location in foster city. At the sit down resturant they have Ecuadorian dishes and drink options. Would highly recommend.

Wow. This new Ecuadorian restaurant is incredibly delicious. I had the Chimichurri Steak Sandwich which was super flavorful! We also tried the beef empanada and the guava and cheese empanada. The guava and cheese one reminded me of Porto’s bakery and was SOOO GOOD!!! And the new owners are really nice and helpful; the service is great! Looking forward to trying everything else on the menu!

Nina’s occupies a former establishment where I would buy $5.00 Gyros. I was sad when they closed the shop. But today after having a meal I’m very pleased that Nina is there. I first discovered her food at the Saturday Foster City Farmer’s Market where I had one of their empanadas. I’ve never been a fan of empanadas because the ones I had in the past sucked every bit of saliva out of my mouth they were so dry. I was so impressed with theirs and delighted they opened a brick-and-mortar location in my town.

We first enjoyed Nina’s empanadas at the Burlingame farmers market in 2020 and we are thrilled to see they’ve expanded to a store front. They are a family owned business and such lovely people. The food is absolutely incredible and they have something everyone can enjoy! We even got trays of their fresh empanadas to bake up before our wedding. Highly recommend checking them out!

A lovely place for empanadas, this place just opened recently and my friend suggested it for lunch. We ordered beef, ham, mushroom and guava empanadas. So yummy especially with sauces, freshly made and crispy. The chimichurri beef sandwich and the turkey wrap was good as well but our favorites were the empanadas.
