Niku is a decent steakhouse restaurant, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The steak was cooked to my desired temperature, and the seasoning was good, though I didn’t find the food to be particularly special. The sides were average and didn’t enhance the meal experience. The service was decent, but not as attentive as I would have liked. The atmosphere was pleasant, but a bit too noisy for my taste. On the plus side, the restaurant had a nice selection of drinks and the presentation of the food was visually appealing. Overall, Niku is a decent option for a night out.

Simply superb. Delicious food especially their crispy potatoes and house rolls, out of this world. The steaks are, as expected, phenomenal. Service is unique and exquisite. Ambiance, very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

Primary experience here has been at the bar where service is phenomenal.

Got a reservation at 20:30pm for two at the chef’s table. The experience was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for more. For the appetizers we got the Broiled Miyagi Oysters, which was quite interesting but good nevertheless as the melted butter had a hint of Kimchi. I shared a tomahawk with a friend of mine and we ordered two sides. The crispy potato sides were great, however, the pickled market vegetables paired extremely well with the tomahawk steak.

The short rib and our cuts of A5 were unforgettable. The pig ears, bone marrow, and wagyu fat potatoes are must have appetizers here. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here – ask your server for great recommendations based on your tastes including wine pairings also!

My only complaint is that the tables are close together but if that’s what it takes to get a seat, it’s a small price to pay. Everything was excellent. Staff was helpful, but not in my face. It was pricey but worth it for a special occasion! Will absolutely go here again!

Had my birthday dinner here and they treated us like VIP’s. Everything from the service to the food was top notch. This isn’t your classic American steakhouse. Instead it’s more like Michelin starred creativity for all of the appetizers, sides, and dessert. And really well executed Japanese steaks. My friend enjoyed the wine thoroughly. I enjoyed the crispy pigs ears, mushrooms, asparagus, and black sesame ice cream. The filet mignon was very tender and with the perfect amount of smokey char and salt. One of the cool things is that you get to select your choice of steak knife from about 6 options. They’re all really beautifully carved This place is great for a special occasion. We got lucky and they moved us to the private dining room.

The food was okay, slightly off the mark. No zero proof / mocktail menu, but the bar tender will make something on request. One amuse bouche that was reasonable tasty. The crispy pig ears were cooked but slightly over sauced/sweet. The bone marrow topping short rib, Morrell mushrooms, and sauce were good, but the marrow wasn’t quite cooked to perfection and was quite sinewy and difficult to spoon out. The choose your own knife adventure is quite fun. And the steak is precut anyway so it’s not crucial to be practical. The tomahawk steak was excellently cooked but needed salt. The side of maitake was on point for flavor but inconsistently crisp/charred per piece. Service was decent early on, but no one checked on us after the restaurant became busier / once the steak was delivered . While it’s a higher price point, I still prefer gozu.

At a michelin-star restaurant, the experience is just as important as the food. Niku gave me an amazing experience.
