Everything was amazing! Greeted by the owner immediately, had a chance to even have a conversation with her as we were leaving, she is so nice. All the food was amazing! We got a burger, fries, & zucchini bites. Everything was beyond perfect. We also tried a few drinks that were amazing. They have a new drink called the spicy Paloma, I had to get 2 just because it was so good. We will definitely be returning soon!

Smash burger success! Superb beverages from a very knowledgeable bartender. Small town fancy food that ain’t too trendy! Seasonal specials keeps us yearning to return to try something new. Great concept from Bagel joint in the AM to evening hangout and eatery later in the day. Owner is vivacious and eager to make friends and ensure you have a good experience. If it gets busy, just a little smile and some patience will see you through to some good grub.

Night Jar is my favorite place in Madison County for cocktails. I enjoy the gin fiz or tequila mixed drinks. All of them are done really well. People working there are super knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoy the smash burgers made with local Berea College farmed beef. Best place for date night.

My husband and I visited for the first time tonight. We were impressed from the moment we walked in the door. It’s a tiny space, but it is used well. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Top shelf alcohol. Interesting cocktails. The Wisconsin burger is amazing with a thick patty of fresh fried Muenster cheese. Fresh bratwurst is full of flavor on fresh made bread with sweet and sour red cabbage. The absolute best part of the meal was the smoked devil eggs with pickled red onions. So yummy!! You can taste the freshness of local meats and veggies in every bite!! We will definitely be back sometime.
