This place is PERFECT!!! Perfect location, vibe, and amazing tacos. We didn’t have a margarita but we wished we had when we found out it was all made with real ingredients versus margarita mix. The hot sauces were so unique and not too spicy but not too light. I can’t wait to come back!!!!! The biggest reason is the atmosphere both inside and out. That area has become my favorite cute market spots.

We had the privilege to have dinner here on our short visit to the Twin Cities. Beautiful neighborhood in St. Paul, the food fantastic and a great atmosphere. We were able to sit outside which is beautifully decorated with plants and colorful umbrellas. We found out that the restaurant is owned by the Victoria family, an amazing family that continue to impress with good food and fabulous restaurants in the Wisconsin-Minnesota area. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I wanted to opt for something light so I opted for their salad with asada steak. The steak was so tender and flavorful! I also got a prickly pear margarita and it was perfect. The patio area is was cozy and cute! Will definitely come back to try more

This place is packed, so it may be wise to pick less busy times to dine. I went here a couple times with friends and family. The first time I wasn’t feeling well so I could not give a fair assessment. But the food my family brought home I enjoyed. What I had was a good balance of tangy and savory. The second time I felt much better. There is plenty of outdoor space decorated with a variety of plants and flowers, but we ate inside in case it would rain again. There’s an assortment of salsas to choose on the menu. We devoured the guacamole. Our group went for mild to moderately spicy for the salsas. The quasideas I chose were very cheesy, which is how i like them. There are choices for what meat to have, but I picked pulled chicken.

The best tacos and margaritas in the Twin Cities! So many to choose from, I love the chipotle camaron, the pescado, and the carnitas. The salsas are so good and freshly made (get the Zona Rosa and Salsa de Aquacate). Don’t skip the Tres Leches cake!

Nico’s is our favorite neighborhood spot! An amazing margarita menu, warm fresh tortilla chips, awesome array of house-made salsas, great desserts (especially love the tres leches), some of the biggest & best quesadillas I’ve ever had (try ordering one with the mixed mushrooms, it’s UNBELIEVABLY umami), and friendly staff plus a truly lovely outdoor patio where dogs are welcome?!? Oh and very reasonable prices, too? What’s not to love?? We’ve brought visiting relatives to Nico’s a couple of times and EVERYONE has left more than satisfied!
