Wow, where do I begin? We ordered takeout tonight and a majority of it was just awful. The pizzas were terrible. All of the toppings heaped in the middle. About 2.5in of crust which wouldn’t have been so bad if it was tasty, however it was not. Dough was either old or over cooked, either way it was very tough and chewy. The margarita pizza was practically inedible. The mashed potato pizza would have been ok if all of the mashed potatoes weren’t smack in the middle. We also ordered the cheese steak egg rolls. We had high hopes for these but alas, also a disappointment. Not sure if they used provolone cheese but they smelled like feet. Something that maybe should be listed on the menu since provolone is such a strong cheese. Who knows, maybe tonight was an off night but we will not be giving it another go.

I like a greasy pie, but this one was dripping and created a pool of oil on the plate. Cheese tasted off. Couldn’t tell if it was spoiled cheese or if it was a blend versus the pure mozzarella advertised on the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of having take out from at Nicky’s Place because my job ordered and tried their buffalo chicken pizza, and chicken bacon pizzas. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The buffalo chicken pizza had a perfect balance of tangy buffalo sauce and tender chicken, all topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like it. As for the chicken and bacon pizza, it was a savory delight! The combination of juicy chicken and crispy bacon created a mouthwatering flavor explosion. The cheese was gooey and melted to perfection, making every bite incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend giving Nicky Place a visit if you’re craving some delicious pizza with these mouthwatering toppings!

The Lobster Roll Pie was the perfect combination of a traditional lobster roll and a white pizza pie. While slightly pricier than other items offered on the menu, the lobster meat was tender, high quality, and plentiful. Well worth it, and perfect for a summer night in New England!

The food is excellent. May be one of the best pies in East Haven. I have been there several times already and really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the bar and dining room to open. My only criticism is that I wish they had their own delivery. I tried one of their services for delivery and when I went to check out the same order I ended up picking up for $15.95 the delivery service was charging me $27.00. I don’t mind picking up food for takeout on occasion but many times I have guests and don’t want to leave to go and pick up food. Hopefully they can get this worked out. There are too many places that offer delivery that is inexpensive and convenient.

Would give 1 star if I could. 50 min wait to wait another 20 once I got there. Got shorted a pizza so had to wait another 10-15 minutes. Nobody in the family liked it and we never agree on food. Save your money and time and go elsewhere
