Nicky and Smittys is an unassuming place tucked in a small plaza. Walking in closer to lunch, I found the restaurant was buzzing with customers. Looking at the menu, I noticed a good selection of food, including traditional deli sandwiches.

Had lunch there with my husband. Was good, clean, and efficient. A traditional deli with the usual deli items on the menu for breakfast and lunch including pancakes, eggs, bagels, various salads, burgers, soups (including matzo ball soup), and sandwiches. He had the chicken salad sandwich and I had a cheeseburger. Both had fries. Arrived very hot at the table. Certainly did NOT sit in the kitchen waiting to be served. There was an amazing chocolate cake in the case out front but alas, we did not try it as we were already full. Maybe next time!

I’m not sure what happened if they changed hands or what. I had the breakfast scramble, it had dry eggs, cheese was no longer melted and I only found bits of sausage. Home fries were greasy and my friends bacon tasted reheated. On the positive side her waffle was good and so was the coffee although I never did get a second cup.
