Wow!!! one of the best lunches I’ve had in a looooong time! First week of August, 87 deg outside, and I ordered a cup of soup ?!? (What restaurant has a soup special in the Summer) !??! The tastiest version of homemade soup (Butterbean and Sausage) was placed on my table and after the first spoonful , all I could think about was “I should have ordered a BOWL” !!

Moving on with Old Man River “Jim” Old man river
Had a great time there and the food was very good with large portions. We got there shortly before 9 PM and they closed at 9:30. We didn’t want to keep the wait staff after thier shifts were over. The girls had spaghetti with meat sauce and I had liver and onions. The waitress was very efficient and the busser was busy cleaning. I gave both the waitress and busser a good tip. The meal for the portion size was very inexpensive

What an amazing family run resturant. The food, service, and attention we spot on. We were able to make a reservation and get a fireplace table for our 25th wedding anniversary. They have a great menu and their attention to the guests is on point.

Did the lasagna spaghetti and veal. It’s a lot of food folks. Bring a cooler for leftovers. We also had the poppers for appetizers as well as several people. Very good. Diner salads were fresh. My wife ordered 6 meatballs. 3 we took home. There is a lot of food! Service was amazing as well as the speed of the meal coming out. This place was busy when we went. Great place to dine! Will be back……

Ordered from this place for takeout online. The process was great, from submitting my order to picking it up. I got to the restaurant in and out in less than two minutes literally! Great process and great food! I had the fish sandwich and it was top notch! For sure I’m going back sooner than later!!! Enjoy a good eating decision! UPDATE: 8/4 they now have Mac and cheese bites! My kids love these as they are super hard to come by now. Kids meals are enough to fill up the little ones too! Definitely recommend! Enjoy!

Nick’s Is a great restaurant, my dad go in there for lunch from time to time. We were just in there last Wednesday service and food were great. I shared a 24 ounce steak with my dad. Would recommend.
