Firstly, Nick’s is the only place for a cheesesteak. Bread is soft. The meat moist and excellently chopped and plenty of cheese. Today, for lunch, I had their gyro. Given the authentic feel of the place, I had high hopes. (I’m doing a head to head competition of gyros with Sunrise Diner.) the pita was soft, hot, and had the slightly greasy goodness. The portion was good. Sometimes Americans go for overboard with the amount of gyro meat they add. There was enough sauce to cover each bite. Not too much lettuce. Think there was one or two tomato slices. Wanted a few more. All and all: much like Nicks, quick, hot, and good. The workers are lovely too. Only hang up, when I asked for fries on my gyro, like traditional style, the gentleman who took the order said, “uh, we don’t really do that here.” Seems he knew what I was talking about, but didn’t offer to do it for a small upcharge. I didn’t ask, as this is a head to head with Sunrise. Let’s see tomorrow what they say when I ask for fries on it. Smashed it!

Was skeptical at first, the exterior of the restaurant looks somewhat cracked and old. Definition of never judge a book by its cover. I got a meatball sub with cheese, I think it was $10.50. A little pricey tbh. The staff was really nice and the sandwich was ready just as quick as I ordered it. The woman taking my order even helped decide what I should get, but not in a pushy way. Superb sandwich *chefs kiss* it was so flavorful and delicious. I hope more people will find out about Nick’s because it was really good.

This is definitely a good place to expect a quality meal from in Dewey. Very affordable and very delicious. Call ahead pick up is our way to do it but there’s plenty of seating available.

A must stop every time we are in Dewey! Love their chicken cheese steaks. Does not matter if we get the medium, large or extra large there is nothing left in the end. So awesome, I need to go get one today just thinking about it!

The best cheesesteak at the Delaware Beaches. Owner and their family are actively involved in the business. If you have not been give it a try. You will love it!

Grabbed an afternoon chicken cheesesteak while staying across the street at Beach House Dewey. It was delicious and I literally walked in, placed my order, and it was ready with in minutes. So amazing and flavorful. Ordered extra pickles on half and they made it as good as can be expected. When in Dewey and hungry. Come here.

They claim to have the “best gyros on the beach” and I’d say they live up to the claim! Nice little no-frills cafe with very reasonable prices and fantastic food. Their Maryland fries (fries with old bay) are delicious! You get a lot of food for your money and everything tastes great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth stopping in!

Wanted to pop in and use the bathroom. Asked the nice worker and he said ok. Came out and this old man (I’m assuming the owner) asked if I bought anything, yelling at me that I need to buy something if I use their bathroom. I said no, do you have anything gluten free? He said no. If you want to use the bathroom next time you buy something. I said we won’t be back and have a GREAT DAY. When we asked to use the bathroom, if we weren’t allowed, say no! Yell at your employees, not potential customers who just started their vacation and are still scoping out the area for potential places to eat. I did not buy anything, and since I was yelled at by the owner, I WILL not. Restaurants are a hospitality industry. To the grumpy old man: it’s time to retire.
