Food is good, I got 2 hot dogs with ketchup, mustard, chili, and onions. My mouth was very happy. The service was good she was very friendly and smiling . Plenty of little stools line up in front of a couple of large windows. The place has that classic old hot dog joint feel. Good vibes for chowing down dogs or getting it on the go for a quick stop. I recommend stopping by.

It’s a bit pricey for hot dogs and popcorn. But they are really good and tasty. They do offer other items like beans, mac and cheese, and frozen treats. I’ll definitely stop by again if in the area again.

I just left Nick’s nest 15 minutes ago and ordered a couple of hot dogs and 2 frappes. The hot dogs were fine but the frappes were basically nesquik drinks. I’m at home remaking the vanilla for my kids by adding ice cream because it was just cold liquid. I have 2 very disappointed children, this is definitely not the treat they were expecting.

First time visiting Nicks Nest. Food was good. Space inside small, no booths or tables to sit at, only stools at a counter. We had one of the daily specials. Onion rings were fresh out of the fryer so they were hot. Hot dogs were very good as well. They had a good variety of choices to choose from. Will go back.

The hot dogs are boiled and sitting on the counter when you get there; presumably in a heated cabinet, but still seems gross. The buns weren’t toasted or even warmed. It’s like all the worst parts of making hot dogs at home, at like 10x the price. And the onion rings were unflavored. We got one with cheese and bacon, one with onions, and onion rings with a coke. And a potato salad. It was $17. And gross. I wanted to get an ice cream; which you get an outdoor window, but the hot dogs turned us off so badly, the thought of ice cream was unbearable. It’s been around for 100 years. And it’s probably not changed a thing since then. Definitely would not recommend going there.

Fries were pretty good. I got a small and that’s exactly what came. Some places drown you in smalls but not Nicks.I got two Chile w Cheese dog. Admittedly the prices were good and probably in line w the quality of the food – don’t expect too much. Glad we did it. Want to improve? Use Blue Seal Dogs!!!

This is my husband’s favorite Hot Dog place! He has been coming here for over 50 years! We were recently home after 1 1/2 year away and he couldn’t wait to stop in. Originally, this was just a hot dog stand.. but now you can get a bit more items like Mac and cheese, soup… the classic is Hot Dog with relish, mustard and onions.

Some of the best hot dogs I’ve tasted. Got the chili dog and then a dog with mustard ketchup and relish and was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

All the times I have been there I never saw shriveled hot dogs . They were cold with hardly any mustard, relish or onions. I do not know why they were so bad. Employee was not well trained. They even ran out of steam rolls.

Your classic hot dog place. They’ve added some items over the years, but still have good dogs available with all the typical toppings. Fries are good and can be topped with cheese and/or chili. They also have a lot of flavors of soft serve ice cream available for dessert. It’s been in business for 100 years. Worth a stop if you are in the area for a decent priced lunch.
