Heavy Equipment Girl
Came here after work on a Tuesday evening. I ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. It was good. My main entree I ordered was a stuffed grouper with crab meat and it was delicious. My other half ordered fried clam strips and no complaints on that end either. Our meal came with hot fresh rolls and the soup and salad bar. Always enjoyed coming here to eat. Oh and I also had a side of spaghetti because that did come with my meal. Plenty to eat here for sure.

I came in at the end of the night I had a great meal I did kind of get forgotten about however for a few minutes that would have made my meal a lot quicker but eventually a waitress came over and took my order and tried to make it up to me but I can’t complain at all about the food honestly the food was a little confusing like not everything goes with everything else there’s a weird variety of foods there I did ask them if they had Gyros and she didn’t say they had them but they’re not on the menu because it seemed to me that on the salad bar you had everything to make a pretty decent Greek salad and I had a feeling there may be some Greek ownership of the Nicholas Family Restaurant I’m just taking a guess here there’s a lot of Olives so you know and they do a lot of Italian and Greek food and those are basically in a sense I’ll kind of based on Greek food anyway I was torn between eating this beautiful grouper and they also had some wonderful veal options and I ended up settling on the fish but I definitely before I leave town we’ll have to try it again it’s a wonderfully interesting place

First time visiting and will definitely be back. The salad bar isn’t extravagant but it has enough variety to make your plate interesting. I had the Friday special meatloaf (on Saturday) and it was still pretty good. I was going to get the spaghetti but I don’t prefer Greek(ish) spices in my meat sauce. The Reuben my mother in law had looked delicious and the steak tips with onion and pepper over rice my father in law had looked good, too. Kids burger with fries hit the spot for my little one.

We had eaten at this restaurant once before and liked it well enough to come back a second time. The service was adequate and the food was good, but one thing happened that shouldn’t have. It was about 3:50 pm and the hostess sat us down with lunch menus. After we had decided our order, the hostess came to our table and exchanged the lunch menus for dinner menus, with no apology, and the entrees we were ordering were $2 or more higher The hostess should have honored the lunch menu prices. Did not sit well with us and probably will not go back.

I went for lunch. There was a full salad bar, however I chose to get soup and salad from the menu instead. It was delicious! They forgot my soup. I did not complain. They were extremely busy. It was rush lunch hour. Not much of a wait. The salad was so generous that I was not able to finish it all. The waitress, and everyone there was super friendly. I will travel the distance to dine here again and again. I will ask for dressing on the side instead. It was a bit much for me.

The food here is excellent. I ordered the stuffed grouper grilled, baked potato and AUCE salad bar and soup. The salad bar was huge with everything you can think of on it. The soup was turkey and rice. I highly recommend eating here everyone in our group of 12 enjoyed their meals. 2 up!

My family and I used to love this family style restaurant. Haven’t eaten there in quite a few years, think last night’s experience will be my last. The restaurant in general has gone down from the dirty vines hanging over you while you eat to the substandard food quality and preparation. It’s a shame when the only way you can get your medium-rare New York strip steak down is to coat it with steak sauce. I don’t know what has changed in their business, but it is too expensive for what you receive.

Great place, for a small town. Food was great. The decor could use some magic, pretty dated. Wish it was a little brighter, and fresh and brighter lights. Would probably get more business from the younger crowd and the older. Like I said food was great, everything on the menu is good.
