I first want to say the banh xeo is delicious. The reason for the three star review is because the front of house person (wearing a bandanna) was extremely rude to not only me but also other staff. She berated a staff member in front of me and then called someone on the phone and started talking badly about the delivery drivers. I ordered an iced coffee and it took her 17 minutes to pour premade coffee into a cup of ice. It was really bitter and needed some sweetened condensed milk like Vietnamese iced coffee should have. At this time there were only three other customers in the establishment. Also, it took 30 minutes for the one Vietnamese sandwich and banh xeo I ordered to come out. The banh mi tasted good but the bread was so overtoasted it could cut the sides of your mouth. I’m only saying this so mangament is aware of the hostile environment this person is spreading to customers and employees alike. As I myself am Vietnamese I want to support a local viet business and I would come back for the food. It’s just sad that a poor attitude can negatively affect what is a great small business.

Recently discovered this place. Love the food and vibe of the place. So far, I’ve had the Bun, Vegan Crepes, Crab/Shrimp egg rolls and lemongrass rice bowls. Everything has been solid. The only thing that makes this a 4 star review and not 5 is that the two times I’ve been, the person at the cashier has been rude, completely out there in a different planet and not helpful at all.

i love this place! we use to go pretty regularly but i’ve been on a diet lately so i’ve been watching what i eat as their portions are generous. i like to get the curry tofu vermicelli bowl or banh mi (add fried egg). i also love their classic banh xeo complete with the herb basket. it’s so fresh and satisfyingly crispy! specials are announced on IG. once they offered cha ca (vietnamese fried fish cake) which was so good! hard to find that in nyc. my husband likes to get the shrimp or berkshire pork vermicelli bowl (add extra spring rolls). the vermicelli bowls are so fresh with a nice medley of veggies and toppings. their sauces are also super addicting and sometimes they offer special/experimental sauces which we love to try. it’s connected to trans pecos, which is a music venue/event space. sometimes i like to eat on the trans pecos side during lunch on the weekends and there might be someone playing an experimental set to just 1-2 people. love the chill vibe during the day.

We were really hungry coming here. The pho broth started off really good with the noodles, but its actually really greasy/oily. Mmmm, and there wasn’t much to taste. Jalapeños and peppers were nice tho, to add in and eat with.

Don’t hesitate if you want to eat a good sandwich. $12-15 (average) for good quality and you get full. It took like 15 m to wait to bring the food but it was worth the wait. I will come back to try different things.

The saddest vegan pho I have ever had. 1. It was not hot, 2. There are uncooked ingredients (raw onion and uncooked tofu!) 3. The mix of vegetables is sad. They could do so much more, 4. They don’t give a mix of herbs to add such as a plate of basil, jalapeno, and cilantro, 5. The broth is subpar. Recommendation: Take this item off the menu, it is not good. Or learn to make a better pho.

I ordered through Uber eats. The noodles came packaged separately from the broth. They make their sauces!!!! That is a big thing for me. I hate ordering pho and get the packaged sriracha and hoisin sauce. I’ve tried multiple places in Brooklyn for pho and have only found one good pho (but it’s a fusion). I kept looking for a traditional pho and found it here. The chicken had a great taste. The herbs looked and tasted fresh. Not like it was left in the fridge for days. I checked the reviews before I tried it and it definitely was worth it. I will continue to order from here. Also want to add that I love whoever is responsible of responding to the google reviews. I love the sass on some of the comments. (It actually led me to want to try this place even more lol)

great music, great vermincelli noodle bowl. funky sauces to customize the bowl, along with excellently seasoned chicken. i’m not sure why people complain about the service, like what more do u need, get ur food, sit, and enjoy.

I didn’t expect the food to be good judging by the look–very artsy, very clean, no fish sauce smell. But to my surprise, the grilled shrimp bún was amazingly delicious and healthy. Being a Vietnamese myself, I know this dish should be to be good. Will try the phở next time I’m in the area.

I crave the vegetarian curry tofu banh mi! Delicious home made sauces that I always take home to eat more later. Beautiful ambience and I am glad we have more Asian spots in ridgewick
