Tried Newtown Pizza tonight for the first time. People taking the order were nice. We ordered a Sicilian pizza w/ 1/2 mushrooms. The toppings and cheese were good and plentiful. The crust was crispy but the dough wasn’t puffy like a Sicilian pizza. The dough tasted more dry. Overall not my favorite Sicilian pizza in the area.

Went in 20 minutes before closing looking to get a single slice of pizza. There were slices clearly visible on a tray behind the counter. Owner was on the phone and said “we’re closed” before I could even ask for it. Left and went to Marco’s instead.

Usually late, cheese all over the place when getting extra cheese delivery. They were 2 hours late, half the order was missing.The girl on the phone said they would give me a credit for the trouble I said thank you but I prefer the food instead. 3 hours later I get a call after getting the food a second time, and they tell me we owe the money. Then Sent a driver to my house to take the money instead of honoring the credit. I have been ordering from here regularly 2help small businesses, will be taking my business elsewhere

I don’t know who they have managing this place but the manager I talked to last night was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to. They sent us the wrong pizza. Ok it happens. I called they said it was gonna take another 45 minutes for the pizza and I have to give them back the wrong pizza. Which Imo is gross. I said the wait is unacceptable and he said well do you want me to send you an undercooked pizza. They should be ashamed of themselves

I ordered a cheesesteak pizza but a white pizza was brought out, luckily our waiter caught the mistake and sent it back right away. Except when the owner brought out my corrected pizza it was the same white pizza, he just threw steak on top. It did not taste like a cheesesteak pizza at all, it was so garlicy I only had 1 slice. Spent $17 for a personal “cheesesteak” pizza to go to complete waste. It wasn’t like the owner was busy making orders, he went to sit at a table right after dropping off my pizza. He could have easily made the correct pizza, except he was lazy about it. Safe to say we will be going to meglios from now on which has always been my preferred pizza place anyway!
