Staff is friendly, but just got tandori fish, now you can take a look, they charge $16.50 for these pieces and they are too much burnt also. Before it was good, but i am really disappointed today.

I ordered here using doordash. I got the fish pakora, basmati rice, butter naan, and 2 veggie samosas. It was good. Everything that I ordered was put in the bag. The taste was good as well. Only thing was the butter naan was alittle burnt but it’s ok. I don’t expect perfection. They did a good job and I’m happy I ordered from here.

I chanced upon this Indian restaurant a few weeks ago while looking for Indian food near me when I was in the Modesto/Ceres area. I have to say that I was really impressed. The food was quite good and authentic, the service was quick and friendly, and the whole place was neat and clean. They also have a wide array of Indian sweets. I ordered some for home and we all really liked their sweets also. I was also quite happy to see that they have a well-stocked Indian grocery store as well, just adjoining the restaurant.

5star for the food and ambience but 1star for the service. My family was taken away by the quality of food and ambience but then i was double charged for an item by the owner himself. Such a disappointment. At first he hesitated to give the receipt, thereafter he blamed his employees for the error in billing. A complete turn off for me.

Food got cold really fast. The butter chicken was a bit bland in comparison to other Indian places I’ve tried it at. The samosas were delicious at least. Service is not great. The cashier guy was incredibly rude and uncommunicative. I got a bottled sugar cane drink from the fridge area that smelled like mold and feces when opened. It was a terrible experience.

The food tastes exactly like India. It made me feel like I am in India. The food was fresh and full of Indian flavors. And most importantly I did not wait for long for my orders. Next time I am planning with my family.

The food my friend and I ordered were burnt. I ordered on Doordash and the Garlic Nann was burnt. The only good thing was the service and how it was stacked. Overall, It was very bad. We also ordered the Butter Chicken because we had seen it was one of the most popular dish on the menu.

My Latest Experience on May 16 2023: I ordered Veg Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. In the Korma, there were NO Veggies except a few pieces of peas and carrot here and there. The container was mostly filled with curry. The Vindaloo was mostly potatoes with ONLY one piece of chicken. I buy from this place since they opened recently. But the rate of the food quality deteriorated is alarming. I might have to switch for the other Indian restaurants nearby.

I recently visited the Sunlight Indian Cuisine In Ceres. The food was Excellent I would say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal, the price is reasonable.
