We’re visiting from Alabama for our honeymoon and this was the first restaurant we ordered from. We were not disappointed! We got the pulled pork plate with a side Caesar salad and parmesan broccoli. The sides were good and they gave three different Buffalo sauces to choose from but the pulled pork wasn’t that great of a serving and was par for the course. BUT THE show stopper was THE WINGS!!! We got a dozen wings hot Buffalo style and I don’t know what they do to them, but they’re doing it right!! We’ve already ordered them a second time, but this time we just got a dozen each. For a $2 up charge they did mine all drums and my wife’s all flats. Soo worth it! Rob was the guy that took my order and rang me up the first time and he seemed so in his element and pleasant! 10/10, we will have to order wings from here one more time before we leave!

This place is a winner. If you are in the area or just reading reviews you can’t go wrong here. The ONLY downside is that it’s not real big and parking is a little weird sometimes. The food is fantastic. The service is friendly. My first time here (on advice from a local) and it was awesome. Very dog friendly out front. Met a local buddy, we split the Dry Rub wings and then split a pretzel as big as a basketball. It was big and tasty. We went with the queso option. I think I’d go pimento cheese next time. Had a real cane sugar Cheerwine in a bottle. We did not sample any of the adult beverages.

Staff was very nice and accommodating when we showed up with 11 people. Wings were pretty darned good. The few beers I had were all pretty serviceable — didn’t rock my world but quite drinkable.

Stopped in WJ for an afternoon and grabbed lunch at New River. Great atmosphere and laid back vibe, super friendly waitstaff, and the burger exceeded my expectations! There is both indoor and outdoor seating available making it a pet friendly option.

Stopped here during a short trip to WJ for lunch and was so pleased! My whole group enjoyed their meals and beers. I did not catch our waitress’ name unfortunately but the staff was all super nice. We also had the Buffalo shrimp but it got devoured before the picture (also delicious)! Lots of yummy options for food. Try the Skeeter Pee with all the berries!
