I dined on 7/22 along with 3 other adults. All orders were basic meal orders. It took several minutes for the orders to be served at our table except my salad order. The server did not acknowledge that I was not served a meal or comment that she would follow-up on my salad. After several minutes, I re quested the server to inquire on my order. She returned to state that the kitchen was just overwhelmed with orders. A few minutes later, a salad was served to me BUT it was the wrong salad order. Sadly, I accepted the meal because no telling how long it would have taken to prepare another salad. I do not plan to dine at the Manhattan restaurant in the near future.

I ordered the Seafood Platter and the Alligator Poppers. The platter was pretty good. The thin fish is excellent and I also really enjoyed the garlic herb fries! The Crab cakes were over fried along with the alligator poppers. The fried oysters and fried shrimp were also really good! Another surprise was the coleslaw. It was smooth and delicious. The service was pretty slow honestly. I was second in line and had to wait almost 10 minutes to just place my order. It was good for though, so that was nice. The place was overall clean and the staff was friendly. I would come back here and I definitely think it is worth a try, especially since it isn’t super expensive.

The food used to be good. I’m used to going to the Slidell location before the closed it down. I remember getting a plate full of fish and shrimp with the taste of new Orleans. I went last week and got only two thin pieces of fish and seemed like a dozen shrimp . I was really disappointed. I came to town just to eat there and go to the saints training camp. I was very disappointed . I drove 2 1/2 hours for NOTHING

There were servers and a counter to order your meal. Once ordered, you would place your number on the table you were sitting to the server which I found kind of odd. Could have ordered directly if there were waiters or waitresses available. Food was terrific for a first meal in N’orlens. The thin fried catfish was so thin and very crispy. Ordered too much, so had to take out the rest.

What happened??, ordered the eggplant stack, eggplant sticks, and thin fried catfish. The stack had no flavor, sticks too much batter, and the fish, nothing but fried batter. The soft ice cream was icey.

Mitchells Making Memories
The food was fresh and cooked to order. We had an appetizer, crawfish dip, which was great. My kiddos has fish and a burger. They enjoyed their entrees as well. My hubby had the seafood platter which was very filling. I had the large shrimp overstuffed poboy. It was overstuffed but the shrimp were average size. The facility was clean. The staff was friendly. And the ice cream at the end was very good.

01-08-2021 lunchtime. My second time at this location first time in many many years. Awful experience. Poor customer service. Over stuff large shrimp Poboy. The only thing overstaffed was too much lettuce. Not many fries and extremely greasy. Poor quality as far as the taste goes. Poor presentation of the food. The only thing this location had going for itself, it appeared to be clean. I would not return to this location. I left still hungry after spending over 20$ with tip

Pretty clever that this store ( by David Dr.) doesn’t display a phone number for contact first and foremost. I had an Uber Delivery to my home which included The Big Ch Easy and a Thin catfish shrimp platter. Neither came with the fries as they should have. I was Soooo wanting those garlic fries only for them not to include on either meal. I even substituted the coleslaw for MORE fries but did receive the yeck coleslaw (not a fan) the platter itself consisted of 2 thin small catfish portions, @ 1/2 handful of fried shrimp and 2 hush puppies lol with 2 tiny measly hard no butter french breads lol. This platter is 16.99 I just know never to order with them again. Should have stuck with Buffalo Wild Wings
