It’s been such a long time since I’ve eaten at a proper sit-down Westernized Chinese restaurant. It has that certain look and feel that makes me all nostalgic. But putting aside the ambience, all the food here is LEGIT!! All the dishes have that homey, comforting taste, plus the wontons that come out at the beginning are so light and crispy, I could just eat that all day.

Everything was great, especially the service! They gave us welcoming chips, and also, before we leave, they gave us a fortune cookie! Plus they were so affable and the food was great

First time dining here and I was very impressed. The food was excellent and they served you plenty. I loved the Chinese fried calamari. It was fresh and fried to perfection. We had the chow fun, war won ton soup and shrimp fried rice. It was so much food! Everything tasted delicious. I will go back and take friends and family

Great food and amazing service. Came here with some friends a couple days ago. Beef, chicken and shrimp were some of my favorite items. Good when paired with the chili sauce and brown rice. We had really good servers that were quite attentive and always on top of refills, which was nice. Indoor dining was nice and clean. There was an indoor private event going on and was not too noisy to disturb the other patrons dining, which was very considerate.

Best shrimp ever

They took away Happy Hour. They do have “Bar Food” prices but a beer is $7.50. Can’t get very Happy anymore. They should be $5.00

This place is a nice lunch/dinner place. The sitting is not bad. It is a big open space with tables. No cloums in the middle. The outside is nice too but it could get a little noisy. The food is good. Not as good as banda in but it is higher than average quality. They are so what fast. Make sure to order chips as it doesn’t come by default. It is completely free. It comes with a sweet sauce. The tea is good. You don’t have to make couple of orders for the tea. You can just ask for more cups. The staff is very nice. They will help you out. They are very respectful and helpful. They don’t have a spinning table so you might get tight on place when you are a big group. Don’t come here alone. Come with a group of people. Always order in family style so you can try more than one plate. They have alot of options. So enjoy and try everything with your group.

Chicken eggdrop dumpling soup and roast pork are extraordinary. Everything else is good. On the expensive side for what it is, but it’s actually hard to get decent Chinese food in LA, so it’s a good place relative to most.

As a reviewer with over 1 million views, I’d say this is by far the Best Real Chinese Food Restaurants I’ve been to in California. My boyfriend wanted to bring me here for months. I ordered House Rice, which had shrimp, chicken, pork, and beef and I also got wonton soup. He got Chow mein and Kung Pao Chicken(No pictured). The food was authentic, amazing, and seasoned very well. The staff were nice and the environment was spectacular. I’d definitely visit again and would recommend this fine restaurant to anyone.

Two of us split Mongolian beef, chow mein with pork, and fried rice. The food is delicious every time I visit. Service always excellent. Nice environment. Highly recommend new moon.
