Always my go to place for dinner, price is fair, foods are always meet our expectations, recommend roasted duck, chicken with pork belly, don’t get scared pork belly is delicious, you can also order crab, lobster, all kinds of fishes, roasted pigeon as well.

I went in there for my first time and immediately after being seated I noticed that the restaurant isn’t clean. The table was sticky, windows were dirty and there was a fly in the sugar canister. I immediately was grossed out and alerted the waitress and left. All she said was ‘okay’ after showing her the fly and didn’t say anything else. Can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like if they can’t keep things outside clean. Don’t reccomend.

Food was good. Not too crowded. Lobsters are hugh and cost is $28 for one. They have fresh crab also. I had beef and snow peas and pot stickers. All good. Staff is nice. They serve hot tea which i enjoy.

This week, I had the same two dishes in two different Chinese restaurants, (1) steam two jumbo clams with minced garlic and bean vermicelli, (2) stir fry beef steak strip with wild mushrooms. Both dishes were awesome and delicious. The presentation was also beautiful. New Lai Wah’s price was about $12 lower than T Kee. The only reason why I gave New Lai Wah four starts was that there was a housefly in the restaurant. Their interior décor was outdated as well.

Dont judge the book of this place it’s great for late night spot. I mean your craving Asian food and most places might do been closed except this so hey that’s a plus.

I was not impressed, but will give them another try. Atmosphere was fine, food was good and service was not bad, but also not friendly either. Was turned off by the sticky tables (that’s just the way they are, even wiped down) and the old oxidized shakers on the tables that may get wiped down occasionally, topped off when needed, but never changed out. I also always hate seeing diseased looking fish in the “fresh fish” tanks and there were a few with fungus and spots. The images of the other dishes online makes me want to try more, but I just don’t get the feeling of “clean” when inside so I may order for take-out or delivery; they say Ignorance Is Bliss.

EVERY SINGLE THING IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE. Horrible service asian ladies there do not greet you, look like they hate their jobs. If you don’t do it with heart and kindness this is what you get, BAD REVIEWS BAD REPUTATION!

The service was okay. We came an hour before they were closing but the food came out really good. I wouldn’t suggest going tho if you have a problem with seeing live seafood being taken out
