Love the things the new owners have done to Cherry Buffet, formerly New China Buffet. Hedges are clipped, outside and inside painted. Old worn carpet replaced with new carpet.

I really enjoyed the people here but the variety is subpar to say the least. You even have to special request white rice. But the staff kept me coming back. I really enjoyed the staff. That was until tonight… an elderly lady who was dinning in the restaurant decided she was going to take over. I’m not sure if she is an employee or not but she was rude and completely ruined my dinner. She approached our table as I was paying the check. She made some rude comments about my children’s ages, grabbed the check, and walked away. A moment later she returned with a new bill and slapped it down on the table, it was $4 more and said “oh sorry, your server gave you the wrong check” it was snotty and rude. Never once did anyone ask about my children’s ages before the bill. It was similar to all the other visits. I felt insulted and never once gave the impression that my children were not their actual ages. So all in all… they just lost a customer over $4. I will not be going back!

Most of time it is good food. Had bad experience tonite however 4/30. Asked for pineapple chicken was told there was no more. Then as we were getting ready to leave an hour later some was brought out. Was never told it was being prepped and our drinks were never refilled.

The food and service was great. This is a newer restaurant. They don’t have a large customer base yet. Come find this hidden gem. If they run out of something on the buffet give them a minute to refill it. They do a great job. The building doesn’t look like much.

Food is terrible! The chicken was extremely fatty, chewy, and bland. The beef in the beef fried rice had a very soft/gummy and overall very unpleasant texture to it, along with being very bland as a entire dish, and finally very greasy feeling was left on the pallet. The crab rangoon once again was bland and had an offsetting taste of dirty fry oil. It’s a case of the small town single Chinese food restaurant that people have to settle for. I for one will not be ordering from here again.

awesome general chicken, and great delivery service ! Last time I had general tso chicken this good was at Hunan Chinese Rest. in Pensacola Fla. And they were a five star rest. At last I can have my favorite dish, and others cooked just how I love it.
