Nice people. Worst food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We couldn’t finish our plate and I’m not a picky person all the food made is very nauseous. Don’t waste your money or chance getting sick.

It was very nasty, the seats and tables were sticky and covered in food. The food from the buffet had been sitting there a while, half of it was cold. No gloves for the people putting the food out, the hostess lady had black dirt underneath her fingernails while touching the food. The silverware was still dirty, had chunks of food still on it that had dried.

Affordable Chinese food but tastes like out of the box. I would pay more for a better quality. Very roomy on the inside and decorated well. Friendly staff. Bathroom was unclean. Tables were clean but floors needed attention. Again a great place for low quality affordable Chinese food on a buffet. Easily accessible in the Galax shopping center.

Our “Four Star” rating was a family consensus. I personally leaned more toward a “3” but my wife and kids persuaded me to add the extra star. We went on a Monday for lunch and all chose the buffet. It is definitely not a “Mega Buffet” that you would find in a larger town, but all of the items were fresh and hot. It was good food, although they were missing a favorite or two (no General Tso’s Chicken, for example). The egg drop soup and the Hot & Sour soup were both excellent. They also had a “Jalapeno Chicken” that was tasty. The only “American” option I saw was french fries (in case you have any picky eaters who aren’t into Chinese. Some Chinese buffets will have a decent selection of “fast food” type options.) The actual salad bar had very few items and only a couple of dressing options. Fresh fruit was limited to cantaloupe and watermelon, although they did have some canned options (such as mandarin oranges). The handful of desserts were typical of a Chinese restaurant (small cake squares and coconut macaroons, etc.). The dining room and buffet area was clean, as were the restrooms. The building, however, is dated and most of the ceiling tiles had water damage. The service was good, and I imagine my family will want to return the next time we’re in town.

First off the restaurant is disgusting. Food splatter all over walls, glass, take out boxes. Cleaning supplies, (brooms, mops, buckets, cleaners) all next to the buffet. How does this place pass the health dept.?? Food sitting out on side tables for who knows how long, dirty entry, carpets, menus. Take out was overflowing, greasy and wasn’t prepared correctly. And the price was robbery. Go home and make your own food. It’s going to be a lot better!

We drove an extra 20 minutes off the interstate to come to this restaurant to give it a try The Buffet iwas 13.59 per person with NO DISCOUNT for senior citizens or military. Food was cold and been there for awhile. Several items left on bar past their expiration. The air conditioner was not on as they had the door propped open with it higher inside than out. . It was 70 degrees this day as we checked due to it being warmer inside the restaurant than outside. My mother literally got sick to her stomach half way through dinner from being hot so the food was not enjoyed. I brought these things up to the manager as we where leaving very unhappy. I asked for senior citizens discount which is when I was informed there was not one.. This was very disappointing and apparently this is a common issue as it did not seem to phase the lady at all as to how unsatisfactory this was for us! Save your money and go somewhere else!!

The food had been cooked to long and some of it was almost cold. The service wasn’t very good either. Even their fortune cookies are stale. Also my boyfriend got a very upset stomach after eating there. So the price was ridiculous for just two people, the bill was almost $35.
