DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. DISGUSTING FOOD. DO NOT eat here. We were going through this town from our camping weekend. We stopped to eat without looking at reviews. Big mistake. They throw the ticket tray at you. The lady taking our order was behind a plexiglass contraption clearly still scared to death after covid. They do not even come in the dining room. Chicken fried rice is literally plain rice that’s brown with about 7 little pieces of chicken. Raw onion and that is all. ZERO flavor. Egg rolls burnt. We took it and ate in our car because the entire situation was off. We took a few bites and threw it away. Absolutely praying we don’t get sick. Total jerks.

The food is quite good and you get a decent amount for your price. The main problem with this restaurant is how understaffed it is. While it is a family business they could really benefit from more staff. The service is quite slow due to the lack of proper staff and it could take close to 35-40 minutes just for one-two things. Even with this said the staff is quite kind and they’re very patient with you. I also enjoy how polite they are over the phone. Some restaurants can come off as rude when on the phone so it’s nice to have a change.

Second time we’ve tried, thinking the first time was an off night. Price seemed a little high but the portions were huge! Ordered two General Tso’s and could have fed 4+ people! Was disappointed that it was all dark meat chicken though, which my wife can’t stand and I must admit was not nearly as good as the normal all-white meat chicken served most everywhere else. Ended up throwing most of it away, and instead filled up on rice and crab rangoon which was decent… But for the price we should have gone out for a steak dinner elsewhere.

Ordered lunch cashew chicken. She put in the regular order which I had to pay for. Chicken was tough, over fried and not the sauce I’m used to for cashew chicken. Probably won’t order that again. Make sure you say lunch numerous times to get what you want. Only found one cashew in my chicken. Pretty sure they messed up my item.

I called and asked if they were doing their lunch specials today. The guy who answered said they were and that my total would be $6.05. When I went to pick up my food the woman at the counter said that my card was declined (I only had $7 on there). I asked her what the total was and she said $8.something and that there was no lunch special today. After I explained to her what the guy said on the phone she refused to give me the food and just reminded me again that there was no special today. I feel embarrassed because I asked these things on the phone just to try and avoid this situation! I have had bad experiences here before and will not return after this!

I don’t understand how people can say this place is so good, or how the restaurant has even managed to stay open. I’ve given it 3 different chances, and have been TERRIBLY disappointed every time. The owners are rude, the food is awful, and this last time, my “chicken” did NOT taste like chicken, and had a flakey consistency like fish… seriously, this place is such a joke. Never going back.
