First time in! Loved the atmosphere. The decor and the live music. The flavor of the food was excellent! Loved the chicken with Swiss cheese and cornbread dressing. The only thing that kept the food from getting 5 stars was that it was lukewarm and by the time you were even halfway through eating, it was cold. Prices for the entire package were good. We will definitely try it again but, for a Friday night and not being very busy…food needs to be much warmer on delivery to the table.

Hand crafted country home cooking goodness! I enjoyed the hand battered chicken fingers, side salad and sweet potato casserole. My friends had the mushroom Swiss burger and two chose the meatloaf. Our waiter kept our drinks full and made sure we felt at home. There was a band setting up for live music starting at 7pm on a Saturday night.

Food was ok, server did fine, the bathrooms were backed up which was unfortunate but I know not their fault. Probably better in the evening with music. Food was a little bland, season up those burgers.

I ordered from Whippoorwill via DoorDash and I was not disappointed! Food was hot and tasted fresh. I loved the Garrison Swiss Chicken and the Fried Pickles. The Sweet Potato Casserole side is soooo good that I would honestly go there just for it! Also, they packaged everything up so nicely for delivery. Everything was well divided so none of the fried things got wet or soggy, and the Sweet Potatoes were in their own little cup so nothing mixed together. I personally hate food touching so I was very impressed by this! Delicious and fast. Can’t wait to drag my husband there for an in-person meal! 🙂

I had high expectations when we arrived, the atmosphere was great, I ordered a hamburger, and was so disappointed that they were using frozen patties that tasted like school grade meat, wish they would upgrade their beef patties because I would love to add the Whippoorwill grill to my favorite restaurants.

Fun atmosphere and super good food! The chicken strips are next level. They’re hand breaded and way better than any other chicken strips I’ve had. The Whipporwill burger is also good. The flavor is awesome and the quality of the meat was just what you’d expect from a good quality burger

I ordered the Whippoorwill Burger and it came out on a homemade bun with fresh cut fries. However the burger meat looked and tasted like one of those thin, pre-made, frozen burgers you would find at Sam’s Club.

Did not get what I had ordered. Was told that I would get the homade potato chips, but received stale ruffles from a bag. My hamburger was wrong also. Did not know until I made it home to Alma.

The food quality was commendable; however, we experienced an unfortunate delay of one hour in receiving our orders. Interestingly, half of our party was served their meals 15 minutes before the rest of us. In fact, a few individuals received their food as we were preparing to leave and opted to take it to go. It appeared that the establishment was ill-prepared to handle the high volume of customers during the busy lunch hour, I was informed a reservation was made in advance. Nevertheless, the majority of the staff members were pleasant and accommodating, although there was one person who seemed visibly overwhelmed by the situation, she seemed to be handling multiple sections of the restaurant. I believe they ran into a few issues in the kitchen and with staffing, life happens. Might not want to go if it’s your lunch hour at work around noonish, but if you have the time and good company go for it. Appetizers arrived promptly enough and were delicious apart from the fried pickles they were a bit soggy, it appeared that the batter was not done on the inside, but definitely get the cheese curds or onion sticks.
