Took a ride on the Harley, looked up restaurants in Ft. Smith, and this place caught my attention! We stopped in for lunch and a “cold one.” I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, my guy had the sliced brisket sandwich with onion rings. The smoke flavor in my sandwich was superb! I didn’t add any sauce (available on the table) because I just wanted to savor that delicious and moist pulled pork! And what a great portion of it on my very fresh bun! The sliced brisket was also very good according to my partner; he added some of the BBQ sauce from the bottle with the red lid and commented that he thought it had “a little kick to it!” The heap of fries were quite tasty; my partner said he was sorry he didn’t order fries also as his onion rings were a bit overdone.

Competition style barbeque in a rock and roll themed antique type building with a good sized patio. Come here for the meats. The ribs are firm textured competition style so they are always a favorite. The others are nice and smokey with a good amount of spice. The sides are hit and miss in my opinion. Seasonal fried pies can’t go wrong there. I do wish more beers on tap but a fair bottle selection.

This place is absolutely freaking delicious. The BBQ is smoked perfectly. We tried the wings, the brisket spud, the ribs, and the banana pudding. Even as I type this review, I am salivating about their brisket spud. This location is totally adorable and in a fun historic district. If you are ever in town or passing through Fort Smith, Arkansas. You should add this place to your must try place.

Well if your going to Neumeier’s Rib Room you might as well have the ribs. That’s what they’re famous for and we weren’t disappointed. The ribs were moist and smoked to perfection. The seasonings on the ribs almost had me licking them before biting into them. Very good. Onion rings were also a great side. The waitress was hard to find at times when we needed her. Overall I would go back just to eat their ribs, again and again.

Yikes. We had such high hopes of having great BBQ. I ordered the brisket which came out grey in color and tough as nails. Slathered it in sauce and being hungry, ate what I could but left half on the plate. Had fried okra as the side but it was rather tasteless. My husband ordered the ribs, they too came out severely over done. We didn’t have the heart to tell the sweet and very busy server. Ribs are supposed to be moist and fall off the bone! These were just too dry.

This a great place to stop for lunch. There’s really interesting rock memorabilia on the ways. The food was great. I got a sampler dish, thin sliced smoke pork, smoke polish sausage, smoke chicken leg, pulled pork and 2 sides. We got appetizers, my wife and I got drinks. The only thing I did not love was dessert (banana pudding). The service was great.
