i was not a fan, this wasnt for me. never saw fresh burgers come out, and the ones that were on grill was burnt in stacks, the burger was mushy on inside, was very confused by taste and texture.

In business since 1966. Raised on these. Family tradition. Ms. Helen has helped feed the poor and hungry people in the area for decades. My favorite is a double cheeseburger with ham and a fried egg. We have planned trips to north Alabama to coincide with their hours. My favorite burger place.

This was a most unique experience as well as one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Burgers are about all they serve but they have it down to an art and I would drive the three hours up there to have another. Bring cash!

Location is loved by all the surrounding residents. I’m not a fan of the style of burgers. These are bread based patties, Willie’s in Hartselle taste the same. My style of choice is all beef with all the fixings. I can’t say it’s not good, just not my flavor. Cash only, parking is limited in front, but plenty on the town square. Seating is limited on the inside, cramped counter. I say give it a try, remember to bring cash.
