On the outside, this place doesn’t look very fancy. However, the food is A1. I got the Barilla pizza and the chick pizza, and it is definitely enough for at least 3 people. The price for the pizzas is 29 dollars each, and it is worth every penny. The entire feel of the place was reminiscent of a classic New York style deli and had seating under a covered awning area as well as inside on a long table with stools. I would definitely be coming back here.

I had really high hopes for this place but was pretty let down. I ordered one combo (3 tacos) and was waiting for 45+ minutes. I wouldn’t usually care about this, but they were handing out orders to people who got way more food and came after me. It’s like 100 degrees in there and the music is like way too loud, I felt like I was having a sensory overload. But none of this really matters if the food is good right? Well, I have to say the food was average at best. The meat was dry, and the consume was not really flavorful. Pretty disappointed all in all. The kitchen really needs better organization and they need to make better food. If I ever go back, I’ll DoorDash an order because they obviously care way more about those than in person orders.

My friend and I came here around 12pm on a Saturday and it was jammed packed. We decided to order on DoorDash for pick up and hit up Bushwick bakery for some coffee. We waited an hour for our food but it was so worth it. Don’t come around lunch time and expect to get your food right away lol. With good food, you need patience. With that being said , sauces were amazing , birria pizza was so filling and worth the price. Definitely will be coming back.

Forget the prices up on the board behind the counter, you get charged a different amount when you pay, and no, it’s not tax on top – that’s charged on top of the made-up price. Bad business practice. Food itself if so-so. Not bad, but not good – super greasy. Overhyped, and run by slippery little men behind the counter that talk fast and move slow. Before anyone tries to point out “inflation”, listen – put a sign up saying all prices and 10% higher than posted, or tape over the old price and write in the new price – if anything, that slap-job approach would be consistent with the way the rest of the bodega looks.

The birria is sooo good and for sure they deserve the recognition they are receiving. I got the birria combo which came with a taco , empanada and a quesadilla. Everything was so tasty and the consomé was perfect. The service was very quick and friendly. Definitely a need to go place!
