Stay away from this place. I used to eat here all the time. I love the chili cheese fries and they used to come in the big clam shell that you get a shrimp basket in. This time it’s in a tiny clam, has the equivalent of a McDonald’s small fry in it, a cheese cup full of chill and another cup with a little bit of shredded cheese. They charged me $8.00 for this, plus now a charge for .50 cents for the clam shell plus tax. $9 for this miniscule portion of frozen fries? Seriously, well I guess you don’t want to stay in business anymore because this is straight up robbery. I’ll be going to feather bone from now on.

We went in just as they were closing the kitchen.. they cooked our whole group burgers and they were great. Also wonderful French fries. The waitress was nice and very friendly.

With all of the boutique style eating in town Nelson’s is a comforting oasis. The burger was fantastic (bacon swiss olive onion pickle). Same for the Chili cheese fries. Great lunch with my daughter. The bartender was helpful and made everyone comfortable.

Terrible experience all-around. Seated ourselves, then waited 10+ minutes to even be acknowledged. I fiinally went to the bar, server said “we see you! ” so I sat back down. Waited another 10 minutes for service. We finally placed our order (2 burgers, a patty melt, hot wings basket, potato skins, 2 beers and 3 sodas. Bill totaled over $70!! When I asked if I could get onion rings instead of fries with my sandwich, I was told I could get anything with it. Wish she would’ve said it would be at FULL PRICE!! $7 for 6-7 onion rings is RIDICULOUS! We waited another 10 minutes after we finished eating for a bill but it never came, so I went to the bar and asked for the check and a to go box. Got the check, but no box. I asked for a box 2 more times, and nothing. I finally went back to the bar to get one. Needless to say it was our first and last visit!
