Ordered the FULL Nelson with slaw. Wow, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Normally I’d prefer a medium burger. These patties were cooked well done, but had awesome crust texture. Just enough bacon and cheese. It was such a mountain of a sandwich I had to eat with fork and knife. Mixed the slaw in with it and was amazing lunch. The slaw was sweeter than I prefer. Ordered and delivered through Uber Eats, so can’t comment about the in store service or atmosphere.

I’ve tried 3 different burgers from Nelson’s now and each has been better than the next! Pictured was my first visit with the Mushroom Swiss and chilli cheese fries. Yum! The decor could use a little more work but hopefully that comes in time.

Best burger I’ve ever had in my life, and I sincerely mean that. Ordered the Carolina Burger and was just blown away. The server was extremely personable and gave us tips on spots around town as we were here on business. Highly recommend.

Was excited by the hype and waited to try. Ordered the Mushroom Swiss and Smokehouse burgers — the patties were dry and flavorless. The fries were lukewarm and soggy. We were surprised by how bad our experience was, given the positive reviews, and will not risk the disappointment again. The customer service was great. However, the set tip is 25% and above unless you customize (the server holds the machine though so I imagine it’d be awkward).

The building looks like a hole in the wall but in my experience, it’s usually where you find really good food as it was in this case. The burger was one of the best I’ve had with just regular beef (not Kobe or Wagyu). I would definitely go back.
