As a Mexican I can say that this place has one of the best Authentic Mexican food flavors, specially the Sopes they are delicious.

I liked their Sopes but I love their fried tacos and quesadilla. They’re over by Giovanni’s Shrimp truck, behind the Ono Yo yogurt. They’re randomly closed some days/times, so it’s hit or miss

We had so much fun meeting these great people and, of course, eating their tacos! Tucked behind the must eat spot for shrimp you will find $1 tacos on select nights and only a few bucks any night you visit. Fantastic tortillas and delicious fillings. It is a good day on the Northshore when you can find dinner for under ten bucks and be very happy with it.

Nelly‘s food was delicious. I came later in the evening when they were almost out of Chile Riano’s but they still hooked me up with a delicious Chile Riano. They have great beans and great rice. Nelly, us Caucasians can handle a little more spice, but overall delicious.

Sweet couple making $6 deep fried mushy unknown white fish tacos and an $8 side of tasteless rice and beans. There was nothing authentic about iwhat I had. I ended up tossing it halfway through, feeling the grease coating my throat. Also could have been the smoke, flies dirty paint-peeling picnic bench and back-up generator ambiance…NO REPEAT.

The outside area reminded me a bit of Mexico and reminded me not to judge a book by its cover. I had the Chicken Cilantro and it was delicious, authentic and deserving of five stars.
