Really enjoyed our first visit. A fairly new restaurant on Father’s Day, with a focus on different beers would be expected to be busy and it was. Had to wait about 30 minutes, but worth the wait. Food and beer selection was very good.

So far, not impressed. Nebraska Ale Works is a nice name, but doesn’t describe the place well.

First time here…. An excellent experience. Whether you’re coming off the interstate or you’re staying in the city this is one of Kearney’s gems. Sure did enjoy the service & food was excellent.

After an EXPENSIVE visit to the Kalona Brew Co., in Kalona, IA this last week, my wife and I went to this place, where I got a real 1/3# burger (blue cheese) with heavy bacon, mash potatoes, and a side salad. Very satisfying! No stinginess here.

The food was good. Average ale house fair options. Chopped salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and California chix sandwich were good. PB & J burger with mashed potatoes as side was excellent. Large beer selection. Atmosphere is casual but not lax. The service was impeccable though. Got seated quickly. Our waitress, Elsie, was super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We even had management do a run through to check on us. We own our own brewpub chain in Wisconsin. Good employees and training are the life of the business, and looks like this place had the most excellent employees. I would highly recommend this place based on the whole package but our server really made the biggest difference.

Actually made the trip to go to Old Chicago. Surprised to see it changed hands. Nice place, super friendly staff and owner. Had prosciutto wrapped shrimp and some good craft beers. Delicious!

Traveling thru town and stopped to see our daughter. Bonnie was our server and she was fabulous. She kept our drinks full and made sure we enjoyed the meal. The food was great too. We had two appetizers (garlic cheese curds and Italian nachos) in addition to our main courses. Everything was served piping hot and delicious. They also did fantastic working with our food allergy. We will definitely be back.

We had the best time at Nebraska Ale works. The wait was short and the atmosphere made it feel like no time had passed before our drinks and food came out. Our server Dani made sure everything was perfect and was super friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first time stopping in. We will be back!

We ate there opening night. They were fairly busy, but we still got our food very quickly. Chicken enchiladas were delicious, with a homemade feel. Nicely remodeled. Kids friendly. Nice sit down place to eat in Kearney. Pepperoni rolls as an appetizer were spot on! Cold beer on tap.
