Traditional Cantonese food, excellent flavors and good portions in this no frills, hole in the wall restaurant. They’ll have your typical Chinese American dishes, but the Cantonese tastes from noodles, fish/seafood, and especially the roasted and BBQ meats are delicious. Bring cash, it’s Chinatown!

Great small hole in the wall Cantonese restaurant with Cantonese barbecue! Note, place is open very early for Chinatown around 8 or so and such they close by around 8pm or so. I went with 2 friends and ordered 4 dishes- fried flounder, sweet and sour pork chops, stir fried Chinese broccoli and beef and stir fried eggs with shrimp. Portions are huge and service is fast and the food is great. Bathroom is downstairs so not really wheelchair friendly. Take out and dine in are both available.

I’m serious I went that place, the food was not bad. I was half way done then I noticed a customer across was eating also. I said no big deal then he pulled out an electric tooth brush and started bushing his teeth at the table . No one said anything to him. I felt that was not professional and unsanitary. Thank goodness for NB Wing Wong! My wife, Qin Sun Stubis, a critically acclaimed writer, was having the U.S. launch of her new book, “Once Our Lives,” at a nearby bookstore and we had booked a restaurant for dinner with 50 people. At the last moment, unbelievably, the restaurant cancelled and we had to scramble to find a replacement where we could reserve 50 seats in New York City on a Saturday night (!). NB Wing Wong came through magnificently, accommodating us, treating our guests like royalty, and serving up truly good food that this crowd of discerning New Yorkers all enjoyed and praised. Thank you NB Wing Wong and your terrific chefs and staff!
